FEL-PRO VS 50741 R Engine Valve Cover Gasket Set for Honda Civic

Perfect fit. Dont forget those 2 little corners that need a dab of sealant. I used Permatex black and let it cure over night.. This was an easy job and it will take you longer to properly clean the mating surface than remove or replace this gasket. Those two little dabs you need to do are obvious from the factory when you remove the valve cover. Have brake cleaner ,acetone etc and lots of paper towels and its really easy.

The valve cover gasket fit very well and was in good shape upon arrival. As another user mentioned, the spark plug tube seals are not OEM-spec. The Fel-Pro set I received do not contain the same breather valves as the factory seals. Otherwise, a good kit for the price.

I bought a used 2007 Honda Civic 4 door EX with higher miles and needed to do a tune up.I purchased this gasket set to fix an oil leak. After getting the valve cover off and cleaning it well, I was able to insert the gasket carefully to create a perfect seal.Be careful after you've cleaned it, automotive wipes, paper towels, regular towels, etc leave dust all over this, as it's 'sticky' rubber. I'm a perfectionist so I made sure it was completely clean before I put it in.After installation, a few hundred miles were put on the car over the course of two weeks. After inspection, there was no more valve cover gasket leak.Highest recommendation.

My old gasket starting gushing out of my Honda Civic and it was my valve cover gasket.took about 1hr to replace and fixed leak.saved a ton from going to shop or buying from a parts store for double the price

I've always used felpro gaskets. Didnt use the plug seals due to them lacking the OEM breathing holes but the gasket worked great and the blue color helps identify leaks quickly.

Got 3 stars because of the unbeatable price otherwise its deserving of 1 star. The Gasket was simply thrown inside the box and not properly packaged. This did cause the gasket to become misshapen and stretched. Luckily, I was able to use it still to replace my old leaky valve cover gasket and I've driven the car for almost 200 miles now. So far no evidence of leaks. I will update the post as I drive the car more.FYI: I bought this for a 2006 Honda Civic EX with an R18 engine and if you are only replacing the valve cover gasket, you do not need the spark plug gaskets. This package does came with valve cover gaskets and plug gaskets.

Included little dab of rtv would be nice in that price
