Excellent for a beginner who is doing duolingo alongside. Lots of practice is offered, and the explanations are clear. It really helped move my spanish up a notch. It is especially useful for getting to grips with the present tense

I am between A1-A2 level myself , quit learning Spanish a while ago but with this book catching up is quite easy and what I was looking for in a language book. I really liked the translate sections and the book itself provides lots of vocabulary sections which makes it fun to learn. I will definitely buy the rest of the Spanish books from this series once I finish this book.

Good book to help sentence building and understanding of verbs. Enjoying the exercises

I find the book nicely structured, I have a good basic understanding of Spanish and I can keep up on my own.

I have a few more books from this series, and I really recommend them! They are more exercises than actual teaching though, so just be aware of that. They do teach, but it's brief.

The book is excellent with lots of exercises, well broken down, and re-using verbs and vocabulary as you progress. I would say it’s for people with a basic existing knowledge of Spanish and would be hard for a true beginner (but not impossible). You can also download their app for free, identify the book you are using and practice your pronunciation, comparing your recording of yourself to the pronunciation provided. My only frustration is that several words in the book are the Latin American word, rather than the word typically used in Spain but it doesn’t make this clear anywhere. Still a great resource to learn how to read, write and speak but be aware that the vocabulary may not fully translate in Spain

I'm just about to start Lesson 11 and I'm really finding this book quite helpful. I'm using it in conjunction with Rosetta Stone and I find the two really reinforce one another. This book is fantastic for explaining the concepts that Rosetta Stone demonstrates....sometimes I don't understand what Rosetta Stone is trying to show me and then this book clears it up, it's wonderful. The audio exercises are very good and helpful, I especially appreciate the recordings of the Spanish speakers that I can play and compare with my own recording to help improve pronunciation. The only complaints I could make is that sometimes there is not enough space in which to write my answer, and every once in a while an audio exercise is lacking the options for multiple choice questions, but this doesn't happen often and it's not the end of the world. All in all, I'm finding this books useful and fun, and I plan on buying Complete Spanish All-in-One when I finish this book.

英語でスペイン語を学ぶほうが日本語で学ぶより楽だなと思います。 本書はスペイン語を実際に使う為のアプローチに徹しています。例えば、 "I have "は" Yo tengo "と、いきなり実際に使う纏りの形で対応させています。同じレベルの日本語によるテキストは殆どが動詞の一人称、二人称、三人称変化をまず示しtenerの一人称はtengoだから"Yo tengo" と文法的アプローチ、となっています。そのうえで"私は持つ"と日本語訳を付けています。実用からは少し遠いな、と思います。本書では動詞の変化はあとの方で出てきます。まずは"実際に使う形の言葉の纏り"です。 とはいえ、入門程度のスペイン語文法を踏まえて本書に臨んだほうが良いです。西欧語と日本語の構造的違いが大きいからです。本書で必要な英語は中学校レベルで大丈夫です。
