Review on Odin flashlight
The 2000 lumens were very bright it was awesome but on my gun I wanted something a little bit smaller I did not know they had the Odin mini so I returned this one for the mini and the 1250 lumens is plenty plenty bright enough and happier installed at a 3:00 position with m-lock I could never see myself spending $300 up to $500 on some of these tactical flashlights when this one itself is tactical and it is a very great flashlight for the price you can't beat it the quality is there

Olight doesn't disappoint; epitome of bang for buck.
*1st impressions, will update review after some "field" time.*Box organization is legit. Includes: Quick guide, thorough guide, light (clips into included mount or any Scout light mount!), rechargable battery (massive!), adjustable/multiple configuration picatinny light mount (which is super sturdy & is a clever design), magnetic tape-switch (snaps right to the charging location, also locks into place, another well thought design), proprietary picatinny tape-switch mount (polymer), proprietary magnetic USB charger (Olight standard issue, love these chargers & the indicator light), & lastly some misc. hardware (2 Allen-head screws + Allen wrench, if you choose to use a different mount).Features: 2 modes (if there's more, I'm unaware). Low mode - activated by a light push to the end of the tail-cap. High mode - complete depress of the tail-cap button. Momentary mode of high & low if you, respectively, push & hold the tail cap button. With the tape-switch attached, you only get momentary & on/off high mode. There's just a few negatives I have at this time: You're instructed to charge the light before 1st use, however, the indicator light never turned green by charging from the back of the light (intended method) even though the battery was fully charged. I had to take the battery out of the light & put the charger straight to it, which immediately turned green, cause it was obviously fully charged; I wish there was an included charging brick. & finally, the tape-switch: the connector part is legit! yet the switch itself is HUGE, it's thick & pretty lengthy. I hope that the mass = durability, time will tell.

Surprisingly good
If you are an operator, this isn’t for you. For the rest of us normal folks, however, this is likely the best option on the market. Here are my thoughts:Pros:Good Bang for your Buck (they didn’t skimp on accessories and the price is competitive)Excellent Lumen/candela. This flashlight is crazy bright - it blows my surefire out of the water in this regard.Simple to mount and easy to operate (I also like that you can charge it very easily without taking it off its mount).Cons:Not as durable as alternatives like surefire. It just feels like a commercial grade product, not a military grade one.Possibly too bright for CQB. The max brightness of the flashlight is so intense you risk temporarily blinding yourself if you are operating in close quarters and turn it in pointing towards a reflective surface such as a mirror or even white interior wall. Really this isn’t a negative, just a reminder to think about what you want for before you buy.Final thoughts:I would recommend this product to anyone for light to moderate duty such as home defense or camping.

Excellent product!
My first ever Olight product which I bought to mount on a 10.5" AR build and couldn't be happier with the product and the value. Even the packaging was well thought out, compact and not wasteful. I save all my boxes because I have OCD but even if I didn't I'd probably repurpose the box because it's that nice haha. The light itself is extremely well designed and feels like you could hammer nails with it. The light on/off switch comes encased in a rubber sleeve (?) which snaps onto a picatinny rail. It came with a few very tiny zip ties for switch cable management. The light comes with a picatinny mount that has hex screws to tighten for mounting but the mount has an easy button push to release the light. The mount also includes two slots to slide the light into so you can change light position without moving the mount itself. To charge the light you easily pop it off the mount, the on/off switch cable is held to the light with a magnet and slide ring lock. The charging cable is USB powered and it snaps onto the light with a magnet, easy breezy. And the light itself is super bright! I'm very happy with this purchase and won't hesitate to buy another Olight product!

Seems to be a great light
But this is a Christmas gift for my husband. Seems to work really great. We have problems with mountain lions where I live the lights up the outside really well.
