Westinghouse 7805300, Casanova White Flush Mount 52" Ceiling Fan

After a remodel that limited HVAC ductwork access, airflow and energy efficiency were my 2 biggest needs. The fan needed to move the air in a long, narrow room ... and it would need to be on at least 12 to 14 hours per day. The balance between the CFM (cubic feet of air moved per minute) rating and the energy star rating for this fan were both good and that's one of the reasons I chose it. The fan has met all my expectations. It's circulating the warmer air out and the cooler air into that room making it much more comfortable. It's flush mount (I did not need the optional light or remote control) and super quiet. I do not hear the motor at all. Excellent value for the money.

My second one of the same thing. Should got them at the same time as prices keep going up.Fit and finish were excellent. Caution do not use a razor knife to cut the plastic off the blade packet it leaves a cut on the blade, ask me how I know.Not loud and hardly any vibration on high speed.They send the screws to install the blade assembly on the motor, I was looking everywhere for them .It wired for a light I used the one that was on my old fan.

Please note, this fan doesn't come with a light or remote. This was purchased to replace an older fan with standard drop. The Westinghouse fan was perfect for my living room, which has bucket lights. Our ceiling is 8 ft. in that room, and this fan is close enough to the ceiling that my husband, who is 6' 5" has easy clearance. He didn't have that with the old one. It works GREAT and moves air really well. It was easy to hook up to our existing wall switch.

Chain that controls fan speed broke inside the switch. Can't turn on/off. Can't re-attach chain.UPDATE: Westinghouse agreed to replace the switch free of charge.

Bought these to provide a low cost alternative to using the central air conditioning in my home. Having just installed them and they work great. They look beautiful with the decor in my home. I would definitely recommend these fans.

Flush mount installation and very quiet operation. We also bought the suggested Westinghouse control switch. We were disappointed that the blade reverse was not really white-washed as described, but really a brown wood grain finish (see photo). This matches the picture on the box, but not the Web listing. Still looks OK. Otherwise seems an excellent value.

Great fan. Moves the air well and looks nice in our 16' x 17' living room. Just what we were looking for.

I ordered 2 of the same fans. Received 2 fans, same numbers, but not at all the same. Guess I'll order one more and see what shows up!
