KEEN Utility Men's Detroit XT Mid Height Soft Toe Waterproof Work Boots

Exactly what my husband needed for his everyday handyman work. Says they are the most comfortable he’s had. Better than supportive active shoes or hiking boots.

Ive owned 3 pairs of keen boots and many other top brand name boots. These by far exceed all of them.

I love that the shoe came in wide withs. Fits my wide feet great. The plastic that wraps around toe box separated from the leather after about 3 weeks. (I work construction and overweight. I've had Wolverines that started falling apart after day 1) That part has stitching in it so it is not flapping nor does it compromise the shoes waterproofing. The shoe still stays dry. It's a little unsightly but overall I am satisfied with the comfort. My only complaint would be the weight of the shoe (all of keen shoes seem to be on the heavy side)they seem heavier than most of the shoes I have worn. Other than that, it's a solid shoe.

These boots are awesome. I wear a size 17EE. These boots are true to size. Very comfortable. Very little break in time. Don’t hesitate to buy.

I have had a couple pair of the Detroit steel toe and decided to get a pair of the soft toe for hiking as they are so comfortable. Normally wear a 10D, but found the soft toe a bit smaller sized and had to get the 10 1/2D size for the same fit. Probably not actually a half sized different, more like 1/4 size different.

Bought these around September 2021. At first they were pretty comfortable. But after just a few months they started hurting my feet when I stay in them for hours at a time. The boots are very durable and show little sign of wear. That may be because I stopped wearing them as much when they became uncomfortable. They seem to be well made but just not a good comfortable fit. They were expensive for what they have turned out to be. I don't care if the Hiking websites recommend this brand. Not for me anymore.I replaced these with Foxelli mens hiking boots. I am pleased with the replacement. I also recommend wolverine work boots which I will buy to replace a pair that lasted me over 10 years. Good luck.

Better than expected,

This my third pair of these boots and this time they seem irregular. They are too long and my heel lifts up inside the boot and they are difficult to to tighten around the ankle. This pair wore prematurely. They really don't wear well, they don't last. My pervious pairs were good but this pair was junk! Unfortunately I bought another pair during the pandemic in the event I would be able to get them in the future and its too late to return them. I'm a disabled Veteran with bilateral foot disabilities and The first two pairs I had bought five years ago were great and changed the way I walked and gave me relief from foot pain but the next two pairs looked the same but didn't fit correctly and wore very quickly! NEVER AGAIN! I lost money and experienced foot pain because of these last two pairs of boots. I'm on a fixed income and it's very stressful to get rooked! They changed the quality, a bait and switch!

The media could not be loaded.  The boots fits good but I wanted steel toes and that’s why I bought it. But it came without a steel toe for work.The advert didn’t state it clearly and I didn’t get the colour I selected or displayed

Excelentes botas, sin embargo dos puntos:1. Llegaron ligeramente maltratadas, nada que no se pudiera resolver con la crema para renovar pieles grasas.2. Las botas que me llegaron son ligeramente diferentes al modelo publicado por el vendedor.Excelente tiempo de entrega y su empaque en excelente estado.

Tengo varios zapatos keen de trabajo, y siempre la calidad fue excelente y duraderos, pero hoy al recibir mi paquete y abrirlo para revisar, aun no se utiliza el zapato y ya viene despegando de la suela, muy mal para la marca, no quiero pensar que al mes de uso no sirvan ya, tengo un modelo Detroit y jamas se despegaron y ya tengo 7 años con ellos y sigue funcionando, igual que las unión de la suela con el cuero , con excesos de pegamento, muy mal apariencia, ahora hay que probar su durabilidad y resistencia, pero espero lo peor si aún no se usa y ya viene despegando, mal keen xx
