Z-Line Executive Chair with Mesh Fabric

The chair is sturdy. The shape of the chair is okay. Putting it together went smoothly.However I won't be using it. I've owned it for all of 6 hours now and I'm already looking for a replacement and have gone back to using my old chair.The problem for me is the mesh material. I work from home so I spend a good deal of time in my office chair and already just 6 hours into owning it the mesh parts of the chair are intolerable. My arms just seem drawn to the mesh on the arms rests and its like sandpaper grating against my skin. I tend to work in shorts and put my foot up on the chair and again the mesh material not working for that either.Overall its a descent chair but the mesh is just ruining it for me.If you're always in pants and long sleeve shirts the mesh shouldn't be a big issue for you.

The chair is big, sturdy and looks pro. It was easy to assemble. Padding could be better, especially if you expect to spend long hours seated on it. After a couple hours you will feel the lack of padding.After 6 months of regular use the 5 legs base cracked at the collar. Amazon's replacement period had expired and the insurance I purchased for it in AMAZON was a waste. They said it didn't cover "structural damage". I contacted the manufacturers and they sent the spare parts free of charge.To me, fixing it was not a problem. My partner just needed WD-40, a heavy duty straight pipe wrench and a mallet. After 20 minutes it was like new again. If you're not used to domestic repairs may be you would have to get some help to fix it. For the price, it is a nice buy!

I tried it out in a store before purchasing it online and thought it was a little more comfortable than it turned out to be. The bottom seat padding is a little thinner than I remembered, fine with me but if you are expecting a cushy seat this one falls short. I read many reviews on here where people complained about the assembly process. I did not find assembly difficult at all, the instructions tell you to use the box it came in for support during the attachment of the back to the base, this worked fine for me. Remember that step if you buy one!

It is Ok for the price. The lumbar support is not what I expected, and the arm rests are not as comfortable. Z line should have just made the arm rest leather and not have the mesh on edge closer to your body. Time will tell how long this chair last. The instructions were easy and straight forward. It is a high back executive chair. I am over 6 feet all, and it is ok. I think I will invest in a more expensive chair but this time try it out in person. It is ok for short term use.*Update I had to take the chair apart and realign the screws to be able to secure the armrests to the seat. The lumbar support is now ok. I will update this comment in about six months. Still, the armrest should have better support in regards to cushioning. It looks very modern and has appeal in my office. Please be advised that you will need a seat cushion for your buttocks and one for lumbar support for your lower back. I am about to buy a new chair and spend some more money. You get what you pay for.

I bought this chair back in Feb of 2012 and have used it daily in my home office. I mainly do lots of typing and gaming on my computer while occasionally I'll watch a movie or TV show from my desktop. Upon first getting this chair I found it to be less comfortable than the el'cheapo chair I had bought four years prior. I found it to be stiff. The padding is in areas that don't provide any support, e.g. the lateral sides of your thighs. The cushion underneath your legs flattened out to nearly nothing after just a few months of use and the fabric started to peel after about a year. The mesh is a nice "touch" aesthetically but can be very hard to clean since dust gets under the mesh. After two years of use I am now looking for a replacement and have learned that going the cheap route isn't the way to go. I bought this chair for $150 and it has lasted at best 1 year (I put up with it for an additional year). I should have paid more for a different chair that is constructed in a way to last which would have allowed me to save money in the long run.

Very comfortable chair. I was happy from the first time I sat in this chair. After a few weeks, I am still really happy with it. It is very supportive in the right places, feels like it could last for years, and looks great. I am not a fan of the ultra-sleek office chairs, as they aren't comfortable for actual work at a desk. This chair offers a good compromise between the modern look and comfort. Fabulous.

I bought this chair as a Christmas present for myself December of 2011. I use it for work; my work-provided chair was terrible so I wanted something better. I sit in this chair for 40+ hours a week so it has seen quite a lot of use in the 6 months I have had it. For the first three months or so, this chair was wonderful! I could easily sit through an 11 hour day in total comfort. Overall it has held up fairly well, the material still looks new, and all the functions still work perfectly (by functions I mean raising/lowering, Rolling, and Rocking).My only complaint(and to me a fairly important one) is that the seat padding has all but collapsed. The center of the seat cushion is hard as a rock now, so my only support for my rear-end is on my outer cheeks, (Sounds funny saying it :) ). It is starting to become quite uncomfortable after an 11 hour day. I'm going to find out if there is a warranty and what the process is, I can't imagine it's too easy to ship this thing back.Overall I would only recommend this chair as a casual-use computer chair, it would be great for a gamer or your average computer user.

Instructions were simple to follow. Even though it was easy to put together i would recommend 2 people work on putting it together. Comes with the tools you need to put it together. This Chair turned out to be comfortable. I bought this for my mom for Christmas, she has a bad back so she needed a chair that was wasn't going to wear out on here because of the padding. It turned out perfect for her. Would buy again.
