Black 4-3/4" Chandelier Canopy Kit - 20lb Rated Ceiling Base Plate with Hook

Had to be installed twice because my nephew accidentally pulled it down. But it’s holding up the canopy very well. No issues out of it at all.

It worked for what I needed it for. It was quite a bit on the cheap side but no one can tell from the floor. We are happy with it.

We wanted to reposition a hanging light, about 1 foot, the ceiling joist was about 2 feet from the original light position. Stringing the light chain to the 2 foot position (where this kit was anchored) then back 1 foot. After 2 weeks the metal hook fractured and the hanging light dropped back to its original position, shattering the glass housing around the light. The hook could not hold 10 lbs. buy at your own risk.

I recently "converted" an old railroad lantern to electric for use as a ceiling light, replacing an existing fixture. Could not find anything suitable at local or big box hardware stores. This fit the existing ceiling box perfectly and conceals the power line through the center of the hook. Perfect for my specific need.

It has one job to do, hang. It hangs. It’s white. It’s doing what it’s supposed to do. We are happy.
