Le Chameau Footwear Women's Paris LD Jersey Rain Boot

Really beautiful, simple, streamlined quality rain-boot. Great traction. These look ever so slightly elegant. I love them so much that I really want it to rain already so that I can show them off and feel french.I did not expect arch support, so I am not disappointed by the lack of it in this boot. I dont expect much from rain boots other than quality, beauty, and traction. These are that.Soft, pliable, very flexible natural rubber... I get the idea that these boots will last me a very long time... were talking 10 years at least.The color was a dice roll for me... they only had purple in my size and at the right price... so I sort of cringed but ordered them anyway. I like purple, but it tends to be a color I tire of easily. Well, it was a happy surprise when I opened the box and saw that this purple is a nice, very dark and deep purple... dark grape... Its a purple I dont think Ive ever encountered before. Not a loud bright purple by any means. Its a purple that I can wear and not feel loud in. I absolutely LOVE this color now that I am seeing it in person. It will go well with black, brown, blue jeans, etc.Very pleased with my purchase.ONE CAVEAT however: They do run big, however I wear a 7 1/2. I ordered a 6... The six is just a wee bit smaller than it should be for my foot, ideally. I can live with it, but be warned. I wont be able to wear thick socks with these boots ever. FYI.

These high quality rubber boots are doubled with an internal jersey layer and you can use them in the garden, downtown when raining anywhere you want knowing they are very elegant and stylish. They are great with a pair of jeans or with a pair of shorts for example.The dimensions are the following:Shaft is equal to 15.25" from arch when eel measures approximately 1.5"; Platform is about 0.75" and the opening is 14" more or less.I still cannot believe I bought a pair of the famous brand LE CHAMEAU at this price... it is more than a steal. They are very comfortable and the size 9 I ordered really fits as I expected! I am so happy with my purchase.To keep them in good condition spray a rubber protection on it anytime you wash them or the rubber, as a natural material, will deteriorate gradually. In case you would have a hole in your boots just buy a rubber boots kit repair to fix the problem the same way you would do for a flat bike tire.Look for Coghlans and read the instructions if you want to make a good job.

I'm posting this under my husband's name. I wanted to leave a comment because the reviews are so varied...it was very confusing! I typically wear anywhere between an 8 to 8.5 with slightly wider feet so I lean toward the 8.5 in certain designers. I ordered the 9 because it seemed between the choice of 8 and 9, I should go up a size to have room for thicker socks. I will also mention I have average calves and have never had a problem with boots being too tight in the calf area. That being said, the calves were very fitted...I could prob wear leggings but definitely no jeans. As far as the footbed goes...they were huge! I was swimming in these shoes and it was comical. I do like that they are super lightweight and will pack easily which is why I didn't go for hunters. I'd say if you can get the right fit...these shoes fit the bill! And the only rain boot I can see that is more wedge than heel. Good luck to ya!

I love these rain boots. I have small calves, about 12.5" and these fit great, just the right amount of room around the top without too much excess. The height is also great for my 5'2" frame. They definitely run big, I wear a 6.5-7 and I got these in a 6 and they fit very roomy, like a 7. I also have a wide toe box and these are super comfortable. The rubber is soft and the boot is rather light and flexible which makes it a great boot for all day comfort. There isn't really any arch support, but I don't mind and I find them comfortable to wear all day at my standing desk. A bit of a wedge gives me a tad more height as well. Amazon has some excellent prices on these boots that made them well worth it as a nice alternative to expensive Hunter boots.

I fell in love with these because of the wedge heel and the color. However, the calf was too small. I am small but do have slightly larger calves for my size. Note, the La Chemeau zip boots do fit me. Otherwise, they were so nice. I love the rubber they use. I'v had the low boot for years and they are still going strong.

Beautiful boots... however, I think their US sizes are wrong. The boots were at least one size and a half too large. Will try to get them in a smaller size.

The foot bed is very large, was sloppy even with socks on. On the other hand (or foot, I suppose) the shaft is really tight. I have fairly thin legs and could just barely pull them on. Good price for a good brand, but really weird fit, had to send them back.

As other reviewers suggested, I ordered one half size down. The shoes are good fit except the ankle parts fit weirdly large.I am disappointed by the white bloom all over the boots. Are the boots new? I double checked the item description and found no words such as "used" at all. I tried to clean the boots with wet wipes but it did not work.

Seit 5 Jahren tragen ich diesen Gummistiefel ununterbrochen draußen. Ich kann ihn nur weiterempfehlen, weil er perfekt am Fuß sitzt, sehr bequem und angenehm ist. Selbst auf langen Spaziergängen (ca 6km) über Wiesen, Gestrüpp etc möchte ich keinen anderen Schuh tragen. Ich habe auch sehr gute Wanderschuhe, die mir immer nach einer Zeit irgendwo drücken. Beim Gummistiefel drückt nix! Ich habe einen guten, festen Halt, kann überall lang laufen. Top!

Diese Gummistiefel von Le Chameau sind mehr als nur einfache Gummistiefel. Sie sind sehr schön, passen wie angegossen und sehr angenehm beim Tragen!
