I bought a half dozen of these books after enjoying Joyce’s 99 Walks walking app and immersing myself in her community of podcasts, meditations and walking classes. Sharing these books with my closest friends whom I have spent many hours walking and sharing our lives with has been a wonderful expression of friendship and appreciation. Joyce is real, direct, supportive, funny and has a keen way of communicating the way we connect as women. The simplicity of her message has a profound effect on our wellbeing, health and energy and truly captures the message of how we need to show up for ourselves and for each other. Joyce helps us to discern what is important and what is not and does so in a way that is supportive to women and their health and wellness journey.

For anyone looking to boost their health and their happiness, this book is a must-read! Each brief chapter is packed with just the right amount of encouragement and raw honesty, and I find myself immediately lacing up my sneakers after each dose of inspiration. Joyce’s formula for a better life works -- particularly during these challenging times when so much seems beyond our control. The simple act of walking coupled with a mindful “intention” is a game-changer, and the author chooses those intentions wisely for us. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to transform their lives in the simplest of ways. No end to the insights that will benefit your life!
Joyce Shulman's book is one that not only gets you up and walking and more active, it is a book of inspiration. Daily thoughts and stories that get you not only physically active by spiritually grounded and mentally motivated. Her writing made you flow through the stories and thoughts with ease bringing you along and moving you to want to create change within your life. An incredible book with incredible life inside.

Thoughtful and Practical
This book really surprised me. Not only was it full of motivation for chasing your dreams and insight into making yourself better, but it was also thoughtful reflection and practical tips on improving your life one day at a time. Crafted in short chapters each encouraging daily walks to really digest the wisdom, it not only showed me the value of walking, but also how taking the time for myself is not only healthy physically, but also mentally.

Put on your sneakers and take a walk
Who doesn’t want to feel better every day? The author suggests you put on your sneakers, Open your front door, and go for a walk. She backs each of the 99 chapters with personal knowledge as well as research. This book has brought joy each day. walk a mile in the fresh air and toss around your mind the author’s words of encouragement and thought provoking insights. And yes, this book is a must read for Women of all ages.

Surprise
At a first glance I thought it was another book about movement and walking and “fitnessing” (well it is that too) but it’s so much more than that. It’s a collection of stories, lessons and thought provoking ideas. It’s empowering, inspiring and definitely captivating. Very good writing makes for easy, delectable reading. Amazing job Joyce!

You ever read something that you immediately want all of your friends to read, too? This is that book. It's everything wrapped up in one - you'll feel better, you'll be motivated and inspired, you'll get out walking, you'll laugh, you'll realize you aren't alone in this crazy world, and you'll want to share it with everyone. Women everywhere need this book.
