I can - and do - recommend these over the stock joysticks for the Air2, 2S, etc. They feel well-machined and thread buttery-smooth into the controller. The telescoping feature is *unique*, though I haven't found myself wanting to use them extended because it makes the sticks themselves spin too freely. Still, the added length over the stock sticks, even when completely threaded all the way down, makes it worth the asking price.The only issue I've encountered is that they are a little TOO buttery smooth and easily unscrewed from the controller while in use. I had one fall out entirely the first time I used it because I wasn't paying attention to it coming unscrewed while in use. This is obviously undesirable and potentially hazardous if you aren't paying close enough attention. Maybe the ones I received have a fraction of a micron size difference from the stock - which never came unscrewed by accident, even after hundreds of hours of flight time - but I constantly have to screw it back down while in use. I don't want to overtighten and risk damaging the threads on the controller, so I guess I'm stuck having to watch it like a hawk.So, while I do recommend these over the stock DJI joysticks, I would advise that you pay very close attention to make sure they're not coming unscrewed and potentially causing a mid-air problem with your drone.

These drastically change the smoothness of operation when flying. I recommend 100%

Having a touch longer stem, for me, seems to be able to better direct the drone in the manner I wish. I use a tablet holder and the stems don't interfere with the tablet. Oh and did I mention the touch of elegance it gives the controller? NICE!

The product appears to be well made and it threads perfectly onto the Mavic Air 2. I'm a little above average intelligence but I don't understand the way these are made. You can unscrew different parts of these controller arms but I don't get why you would. They don't look like a finished item when taken apart and I don't think someone wants to be using them with the threading showing. Maybe I'm missing some obvious way of configuring these but I don't see how they are supposed to be used except the way they come. I don't know why there are made to be taken apart. There are no pictures or instructions. Again, maybe I'm overlooking something that should be so obvious that it doesn't need instruction. Saying all that I would still give them 4 stars and I would give them 5 stars except I think they are overpriced. If you don't mind the price you should buy them. They function as they should and they look cool.

My only complaint is they don't come with rubber inserts along the ridges. I added little elastics used for orthodontics to give it a better feel.
