This is the second copy I have owned, a copy was bought for me which I had lent to someone and still not returned, which in my book is a good recommendation.An accurate translation of the original text, and placed alongside the original text which is handy, and the translation rhymes where the original did, and the notes explain why this is important. I don't know of any other translations which even attempt this much attention to detail.The informative notes running with the text explain the hidden meanings in the wording which I had never realised despite reading the original work many times, and having produced a movie version of Romeo and Juliet myself some years ago. I would have loved this book to have been available at the time.If you or your child are studying the work I can recommend nothing better. Who knew Shakespeare was so bawdy at times?My only criticism is that for someone (like me) of more advanced age, the text was quite small, but it would present no problem to anyone below retirement age, and easily rectified by finding my reading glasses.I highly recommend this version, as an old Shakespeare buff, and would give it 6 stars out of 5 if that were possible.

Ended up being a frustration for my son. No line numbers and the teacher made all assignments based on them. Plus the "extra info" and modern language version was pathetic.
