Option A: If you have the factory provided laces which came with the shoe, or you like the lace length you are currently using, remove lace from shoe and measure these from tip to tip. Option B: If you no longer have the factory provided laces which came with the shoe, or don't like the lace length you are currently using, count the number of holes in the shoe you wish to use the new OrthoStep laces and use the chart on the OrthoStep Website to determine which lace length would work best for those shoes. The shoes I wished to use my new OrthoStep laces in were: Women's Asics GT1000 and Mizuno Wave Inspire 12. Both had 14 holes (7 per side) and the factory provided lace length was 54". I found Option A gave me the most accurate information to choosing the right lace length for my shoe and personal lacing technique/preferences. The 54" were perfect. Option B recommended a shorter lace length which would have been too short to tie. Don't forget to add or subtract length to any total per your personal lacing technique/preferences like using extra holes, double knotting, tying tightly, shorter to prevent tripping, etc.IN A NUTSHELL: Pleased with Product

Just what I wanted a 30" boot lace that wasn't too big but would be robust! Awesome!

Bought these laces to replace the pitiful laces that came with some New Balance running/walking shoes I got for Christmas. I'm a huge New Balance fan as they are one of the few companies that makes shoes wide enough to fit me and they try to manufacture or assemble in the U.S.A. I wear a 4E for width and could always depend upon NB to fit. However, the last 2 pairs of NB shoes I've gotten had really short laces. I pulled them and measured. One pair was about 48" and the other was about 53". Not sure if NB is trying to save a few pennies, but--Hello, McFly--it makes no sense to include standard length laces with a double or triple width shoe. It leaves the wearer with about 2 inches of lace which will constantly come unlaced. Or you can just walk around unlaced diabetic foot style. In any event, I purchased these laces to fix the problem. They are very well made and are the appropriate length for my wide foot. Will purchase from this vendor again and will try some more colors. The red laces were the perfect color for my NB's and made them pop.

Doesn't come untied when you walk, my other pair I would have to stop and tie them every 100 ft or so.

I bought these pink laces when my tennis team was in a tournament and the captain wanted our laces to match our team colors. (Yeah, I know.) These was perfect for my New Balance tennis shoes. Before buying these, I took the laces out of my shoes to measure, and although the laces seemed to be between the 45" length and the 54" length, I'm glad I bought the larger one because it allowed me to tie my shoes without too much and too little bow. The weave is a little stretchy so that the laces stay tied. The color is a bright cherry-pink.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I got these as a replacement for the laces that came with my futsal shoes.I measured the original ones so I got these in the same size.They look great and do exactly what I wanted, which is to add a personal touch to my shoes.Came with an extra pair, which I honestly didn't expect - maybe I didn't read the description well enough, but that was a great plus for me, since now both my futsal shoes and cleats have the same flair.They seem to be very durable and have taken a strong beating from my shots. I can be described as a power forward and I shoot with both feet so these laces go trough a lot on a weekly basis - no complaints on that department.The laces obviously got dirty with use, but not to the point that I thought they looked bad or needed washing - plus rain always helps the lazy :-)I'd recommend these to anyone looking to change up their footware a bit.

One of the most helpful reviews posted a similar issue; I ordered 63" laces, but the laces I received measure, at their most stretched out, 58-59". That review had similarly reported that the 54" laces they received were also about 59" long. Unfortunately, the extra 4-5" are really important for my particular shoes. Also unfortunately, for various reasons, I haven't been able to try the laces for over a month after I ordered them, so I can no longer return them. Laces seem good though, I just can't use them. Heads up to all that the lace sizing may be off.EDIT: The company's customer service department was great in working to get me new laces that were the proper size; I have updated my rating, as the replacement laces work great.
