We had to buy a plug adaptor as this has an American plug. It doesn’t work so decided to return it, there was a problem with this as well as custom papers are required, commercial receipt forms needed, so I threw the clock away as I didn’t know how to proceed. Very disappointed.

Clock looks great. It does require a US plug adaptor which others have mentioned & I missed. Having bought a suitable US-UK convertor plug I plugged it in. The screen lit up with lovely large numbers. It then went out and hasn’t come back on. Am returning it. It's possible I've just been unfortunate with a defective item. I did incidentally check that this was ok for UK use and was assured it would be. But unless they issue these with UK plugs and clearly rated for UK power supplies I'd be inclined to avoid it. After all that two stars may be generous but if it works it's rather nice...

For me the clock itself is fine with its simple functions and large display.However, I was shocked to discover it has a north American 2 pin plug which I will now have to buy an adapter costing me £8+...and then I'm not even sure the clock is going to work?
