9" Hand Woven Fulani Basket

Thought I was buying a burgundy and tan woven basket, but it arrived a bright turquoise and tan. Also, I expected it to be firmer; it is quite flimsy. I would not recommend the product; hopefully purchases help the Fulani people of West Africa.

Just the size & shape I needed. It is well-made & attractive. If you need a small basket, this might be what you want.

The basket is pretty and a good price compared to other imported baskets like that. I like using my basket ( I got blue ) to keep chargers in and I have it nicely displayed on a shelf. It looks nice displayed and is useful too. I like the texture of it. The company was extremely nice with me; I accidentally ordered two and they let me know, instead of sending me two. They could tell I only wanted one from the communication I had with them, but they did not have to do that, so I appreciate it very much. Also they were very considerate about letting me choose a color, to the extent that they could. They kept me informed about everything and I would not hesitate to deal with this company again. This basket provides the ethnic look that I was looking for in my living room. I did not give it five stars because it is not stunning, but I gave it four stars because it is nice and is as pictured.
