Somersaults Sunflower Seed Bites, Sea Salt, 5 Ounce (Pack of 6)

I purchased this based on a review on another product where the reviewer touted this as their favorite low carb treat. I should have looked for a Nutrition Label. The cinnamon clusters I purchased are very tasty, each is nearly as big around as a quarter, and as thick as four quarters. Each is a baked treat a bit like a very small cookie. This is a wheat product. And it is not exactly low carb by my standards (9g Net carbs), unless you consider a serving as a healthier alternative to a cookie (and you can keep yourself to the meager 10 piece serving size).The ingredients are sunflower seeds, wheat flour, high oleic sunflower oil, whole wheat flour, cane sugar, wheat gluten ,chicory root extract, molasses, cinnamon, sea salt, natural flavor, and sesame seeds. There's a note that says these are produced in a Nut Free facility.A serving is 10 pieces, 28g. 150 calories, 9g fat (.5 saturated 0 trans), 0 cholesterol, 85mg sodium, 12 g carbs, 3g dietary fiber (Boo hiss - if they could have thrown more fiber in it'd be a lower carb treat), 5g sugar, 6g protein. It has 2% of your daily calcium, 4% of your iron, and 20% of your vitamin E.While I made the mistake of investing in 6 x ~4 bags of low carb snacks, these will become snacks for my kids at school -- because they're frigging 9g of carbs which is way too high for my induction phase of the Atkins diet (one serving is half my daily allowance of carbs for goodness sake)

Loved them while visiting my sister. Looks around my house and couldn’t find them in stores so of course I ordered them off Amazon. Tasted a bit off. They were still in date but tasted a little stale or something. Didn’t tasted like the ones at my sudtwra

Ever since I first discovered it in a convenience store, I've loved the flavor and healthiness of this snack. But after that first initial purchase, the store no longer carried it, and then when finding that Target stocks them, every time I went, they had none! It always sold out no matter what day I visited! So I look to Amazon and behold, they are sold for a fair price in bulk, exactly what I need as a college student looking for snacks during class breaks and intersessions. I don't felt guilty eating these, and the crunch is just perfect, nice, crispy and airy without hurting my teeth or gums like some other crunch snacks do sometimes. I love how it eventually melts in your mouth and you can taste the notes of sunflower melding with the cocoa. It's a delight eating these again, and the resealable pack makes it perfect for on-the-go and multiple servings! Each bag can last me a week at school. Highly recommend!

These are very friendly to someone who has had gastric bypass. They dont cause me dumping syndrome and I get to have my sweets. They are tasty and filling so it is a great snack choice. I wish they were a bit more affordable for how much you get but I enjoy them enough that I will get them again. But they are too expensive to be a regular staple.

I don't know why these things are so hard to find in stores. I love them. I'm happily devouring a bag right now as I (nom nom nom) write this review. Think of them as healthier potato chips. They have protein. They have fiber. They have very little sugar, and a reasonable amount of salt. And they pack a punch of flavor to the point that you can't just eat one. As snacks go, they are a pretty good option.The salt and pepper flavor is my favorite, but sea salt and dutch coco are also quite good (however, the cocoa flavor DOES have 3x as much sugar in it). I've tried the cinnamon flavor, but wasn't a fan.I hope somersaults gain enough popularity that I can find them at my local grocery store. In the meantime, I'm happy that Amazon's got me covered.

Normally I LOVE this product. This order I got 6 bags that expire next week and the flavor just doesn't hold up. Especially because of the hot climate here. Last order the freshness date October and this time the freshness date was June This June. Very disappointed and probably will look for another place to order . This is strictly based on them being almost outdated

I never want to run out of these! I get up early 3 times a week to play Pickleball — and it’s too early to eat breakfast. These little morsels are the perfect snack to eat in between games— not too sweet and a little salty. They keep me going!

These are my absolute favorite snack. No nuts, but high in protein, and not too many calories. And the taste is yummy. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but they are worth the money to me. The 6 oz bags are the right size to keep them fresh for several days. While I like the value of the larger size bag it is hard to find even on Amazon and then they get stale before I can finish the whole bag. This size is about the perfect compromize, it is not a single serving (which is also available but more costly) and it is not a big bag that is stale before I finish eating them.

I love these 'bites' but was disappointed with the quantity. Essentially I paid over $120 for 6 small bags. The description mentioned that the price per unit was just over $2. So I was under the assumption that I would be receiving 6 boxes of 'bites' bags that were worth $2 per bag, however, instead I received just 6 bags total meaning that each bag was priced at just over $20.... When I have purchased these in store the retail price is typically $4 USD. Delicious but a bit of a rip off.
