I think the formula has changed. I have a previous bottle this size and the scent has changed and is more watery. Can anyone confirm?

Posted by a user: "I ordered a second batch of this, and it was different. The cap was mint green (not white), and the label was crooked. The amount of alcohol is different (62% on the mint green cap, and 63% on the white cap). So.......I called the manufacturer, VIJON, and left a message. I thought I'd never hear anything, and the sweetest lady called me back in about 3 hours. She had me read the batch numbers on both bottles, and said they are both legit. She said they ran out of white caps, and had to switch to green caps. She said they are producing hand sanitizer about 24 hours a day, and they are getting them out as fast as they can, so the labels are not perfect. She also said they do make different formulas of their product, and the difference in alcohol percentage was normal. So I still don't think any of these are fake as long as you bought them from Amazon and not a 3rd party seller. Hope that helps!"

Is this made in china or usa ?

NOT STATED. Only the distribution center located in St. Louis Mo is listed. Since many products can have ingredients sourced from outside the United States where an item is made is now becoming a lesser degree of importance anyway. The parent company of germ-x is Vi-Jon Inc. Although the company is headquartered here in the US with processing plants located in the US as well. Vi-Jon has been known in the past to source some of their ingredients from such countries as China and Israel. Unfortunately, I can not provide you with a simple answer to that question. I don't think anyone can.

Is this authentic germ-X?

Yes it is but the formula has been changed as there is a shortage of ingredients because of the world wide pandemic.

I was wondering if this hand sanitizer is a gel or is a liquid?

It's not a gel. However, lately the product as a liquid isn't as thick as previous versions due to a lesser amount of carbomer being used as a thickener. Currently a global shortage of carbomer exists and substitute thickeners added in are not working successfully.

Great Hand Sanitizer

Reading some of the reviews, I was a little concerned about ordering these due to poor packaging, leaking and bad smell. Let me tell you, I'm glad I ordered. Not only was it a great deal, it smells good and it doesn't dry out your skin. All 4 bottles were full and sealed tight. The were packaged securely. Advice I can share, don't let one's bad experience deter you.

Great amount for good price ! I put one in all the rooms in my house so always have clean hands! It really helps with itchy skin as well as am super sensitive to dust and mold .I break out and rashes .I use the sanitizer and it goes away instantly. Not sticky

Packaged well so the bottles won't leak!

This is a fantastic product! Dries quick, smells nice, and small enough to be portable. All that being said I was miss 6 bottles from one of the 7 cases I ordered. I would have loved to give them 5 stars...

Everyone should have this in their auto's, to keep all germs, from your eyes, mouth.

Very good hand sanitizer, noticed it does have less drying moisture on your hands. This is what you need to keep all germs away. Portability is great, I keep a bottle in my car console. It's very Effect, to keep your kids and your hands from catching germs. It last a long time, by being more Consistency.
