This is the best guide for reading through the entire Bible chronologically! It helps break the reading into manageable pieces and ties it together so that you see promises made earlier fulfilled later. Even the sections of scripture that are challenging and dry (Leviticus, for example) have interesting truths shared in each day’s recap. I highly recommend this to anyone who, like me, has wanted to read the entire Bible but had a difficult time doing so!

Whether you’re brand new to the Bible or have been reading it for years this book will benefit you. The author brings things into focus I had never thought of before. It is very simply a written & to the point. There are 2 maybe 3 pages to read along with a few chapters in the Bible. It also comes in paperback for about three same price. Would be a great gift for your Christian friend or family member who wants to read through the Bible.

I’ve been listening to TLC’s Podcast for awhile without realizing this book was here! I am a minister and use this often as a reference when I am preaching on a passage or story! One key point to note is that this series does not include a specific Bible; readers can select whichever version they prefer. However, check out the podcast series for those who enjoy listening. This guide is designed to be completed in 365 days, allowing readers to read through the entire Bible within a year. It features questions that encourage readers to dive deeper into the daily passages, exploring aspects such as authorship, context, and the promises God has made. The questions encompass objective, subjective, and critical thinking elements, aiding in research of the topics at a more profound level.I highly recommend these fantastic resources to anyone eager to deepen their understanding of the Word. The questions are open-ended, prompting readers to reflect on what God is communicating through Scripture. Having read portions of the actual book, I truly appreciate its writing style and the ease with which one can read through the entire Bible in a year. With the New Year approaching in a couple months, it's the ideal time to acquire the book, study, journal, and listen to the podcast. I'm also considering starting over and utilizing all these resources together to strengthen my faith and enhance my knowledge of Christ.

I am really enjoying using this guide as I read through the Bible. I've read through the Bible before but certain books were hard to digest and retain. By reading the commentary afterwards, I'm able to get a better understanding and appreciation for what I've read. The guide illuminates my reading.

I started the program late ( at the beginning of the New Testament ) and am enjoying not only the daily Recap to the Bible reading but the chronological format to the readings. The author is truly gifted, personable, conversational, and insightful in her summaries of what was read for the day which makes the motivation to not miss a day easy to find. An added bonus to this yearly walk through the Bible are her Podcasts by the same name that offer more insight as well as a reminder of added resources available through the website.This is definitely a plan and resource that I plan to continue using year after year. It’s just that good!!

This book really helps me get a better understanding of the Bible and allows me to read so many scriptures per day to remain interested in reading.

My 3 daughters & I each have a copy & enjoy doing our daily Bible study together even though we’re far apart!!! Brief daily recap in a very nice hardcover volume covers the entire Bible.

This is the most comprehensive and enjoyable yearly Bible Reading plan I’ve ever done! Tara Lee Cobble approaches each devotional with a passion for seeing the character of God in every reading. She is insightful and considerate of her reader in every day of the devotional. The hard back binding is high quality and arrived without any damage. The bright blue book itself looks beautiful on the shelf in my library.
