Clock fully charged overnight via USB but switches itself on and off at random unless kept on USB. If needs battery no indication how to access battery compartment either in directiins or on clock itself. Quite possible clock is ok but product instructions are unhelpful. Very disappointed. Any further info much appreciated. Some buttons seem have dual functions but precise directions for changing from one to another misding. Iwill prob have to returnit which is a pity because I wld much prefer to use this very attractive clic. Oemr wld be if it WORKED.Edit 24 hrs later. Cock only appears to be switching on and off. It is stuck on blank screen but tapping clock brings up time which is easy to alter. As this is what I bought it for I will orob keep it. If I can find out how to change the battery. It does not show the time unless tapped.

Have had this about a month now and still not even charged it.The screen is a good size and you can change the brightness so it doesn't burn you eyes out in the dark.Took a few.mins to work out how to set it but now its set its easy to use.I like the fact you can just cough and the screen will pop up so you can see the time.Not good in a living room with a telly on though.All in all a good buy and the fact it doesn't need charging every 5 mins is the icing on the cake.

For an alarm clock this is not easy to feel confident that the alarm is set. Has a stupid feature for listening to soothing music prior to sleep. You don't know what alarm sound setting you have chosen due to other needless features that get in the way of setting up. The instructions are of no use whatsoever and in every language used on the planet. Overall it was a complete and utter waste of money as I can't confidently set the alarm and know it will go off at the time I want it too.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  A good length charging cable, nice looking display, I liked the fact that after 6 seconds the display would turn off, it displays the temperature as well as the time and you can set it to a 24-hour clock or 12-hour clock same as the temperature you can have F or C, nice selection of tunes 13 in total I set mine to number 6. Looks modern and yea it works and for the price, it's very good

I've been trying to reduce my blue-light hours looking at my phone at night. I bought this alarm clock so I had another way to tell the time in my bedroom. My boyfriend was initially concerned about the light from the clock but what's really clever is it is sensitive to motion, so the backlight doesn't come on unless you make a sudden movement, like roll over or enter the room. It then goes dark again. I am happy with this!

Brilliant piece of kit while it lasted but when I tried to re-charge it after 4 months nothing happened.Tried different plugs/chargers/sockets and a number of resets but dead as a dodo.Contacted supplier through Amazon and after ignoring my messages I finally got a response offering me £5 even though it cost 3 times that amount.I asked if they were joking and was expecting a full refund or replacement, even if it was with a similar item as I was told this particular clock was out of stock.I identified a supplier of the same item who was trading from the same district of the same city and after sharing the address with the original supplier I was eventually delivered a replacement.Result!

Clear display & stylish look, operation is straight forward. 4 step dimming from bright to very dim but still visible in the dead of night. Disapointed with the 1M micro USB lead, it seems mean & restricts placement options. 2M would be far better. Otherwise very pleased.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my dad. As it acts as a night light as well as telling the time it is exactly what I wanted for my elderly dad. I do think he would struggle with setting the time and the alarm though, so I will need to do that for him. I hope he likes it.
