This plate was exactly like the one that came with the microwave

I ordered what I thought was the correct glass tray for my Whirlpool microwave from an applicate parts store for $90. They didn't list models, just size and the cam shape on the bottom, but I got it wrong so I had to return that mistake. Came here to Amazon and found a seller than listed the exact models that the plate fits. That alone would be good but it cost almost 1/10th of the price of the appliance parts store. Happy mistake rectified.

Fit our micro just right, works well

It's not a genuine Whirlpool brand but is a direct replacement. The price was a little high compared to the other replacement glass available but works as it should.

I shattered my microwave plate when running the conventional setting. This plate is a perfect replacement.

We have a new Whirlpool Microwave low profile Model # WML55011HS06 and we were washing the turntable dish in the sink and it slipped and got tiny chip. We really wanted to try to get a new plate since the microwave is new and we plan on having the Microwave for a while. We logged on to Amazon and found this plate and decided to give it a try. It fits perfectly! The three little glass protrusions on the bottom of this pate align perfectly with the little three prong gizmo on the bottom of the microwave .Just like new. We are happy and would recommend this plate.

I bought this glass microwave plate from Amazon because it was much easier to measure the diameter of my broken glass plate and look at Amazon's pictures than to fight with Whirlpool, because they insisted that I have the model and serial numbers before they could help me. I could only locate a part number, which Whirlpool could not work with. I couldn't find the model and serial numbers anywhere on the microwave or even on the user's manual, and eventually put the phone down on Whirlpool Customer Service in frustration. Purchasing from Amazon was far more convenient, but I have no way of knowing whether it's cheaper through Amazon.
