Great sound at a bargain price!
Honestly I bought these because they were the cheapest thing that popped up when I searched for componenet speakers. I was trading in a vehicle that I had put some expensive Focal speakers in so I just wanted to swap them out for something super cheap. These things sound amazing. I almost wanted to keep them lol. Exceptional speakers for the price for sure.

Get them if a 6.5” speaker will fit
These were of amazing quality but I ordered ones that were too big for my set up and didn’t realize it, they look appealing and looked easy to install, but did not fit. They are a great value for the money!

Decent for the money, need to be used with a subwoofer for full sound range
I installed these speakers and am powering them with a BOSS headunit. Nothing fancy but drives them well enough and the sound quality is good. My biggest complain, that is easily remedied, is that the frequency range doesn't go very low. Listening to hiphop/rap/edm will sound like its missing something. This is easily (and correctly) solved by adding a subwoofer that specializes in those frequencies. But if you are installing without a subwoofer, get a speaker with a lower frequency floor.

Good base model speakers
I’m not an audiophile but they sound great to me. I’ve had them for over a year and so far no buzzing or electrical or mechanical failures yet. Plenty loud. I installed them in my 2005 gmc sierra crew cab 1500 along with an alpine type R 12” sub and a sundown audio 600WRMS class D monoblock amplifier. The system was a major upgrade from the factory setup.

Sound is terrible
Can’t raise the volume even a little bit. Alpine should be ashamed to put their name on this

Purchased six months ago, now it has started slowly distorting from one speaker and also there is no separation between speakers and tweeters, which will give you headache if you listen longer. Now since it's mounted on the car I can't take it out to claim warranty. Bummer, better install from a nearby car accessories shop. Disappointed 😞
