I work with loud industrial equipment. It's a pretty strenuous job and often gets hot and humid. You know what makes these situations conducive to working? An industrial fan and this speaker!! This little guy is LOUD. The neodymium drivers really speak through the radiator (low frequency response is beautiful). I honestly love the way it projects in such a rich and responsive way. And in this little package! It has some nice weight in my hands, something I find to be really sweet - indicative of decent little drivers. It's got a nice rubber bracket around the whole thing, which protects the corners well. The lights are amazing for my tastes. I'm not around any pools or anything this summer, so I can't say anything about the water aspect. But I would trust it to get harmlessly splashed on in certain situations. Kind of like a "waterproof" wristwatch. I find it to be very user friendly, as well. Pairs right up with my budget smartphone. Two important things: when it's charging, it's the plus sign that turns red. It comes with a mini charging cable that plugs into anything USB. It is a rather short cable, but it's needed because it doesn't take a C-Type plug. It's a USB-B Micro. Anyway, it projects enough sound for me to hear it over the machines. Keeps me going through the night as I work! I love it. Good price, too, for what it is - a miniature sound system that I'm very impressed with. I also have another AL speaker that's around the same size and price (the Hydrawave) that sounds excellent, as well. These little speakers are well-built.

I bough this as a gift. He took it camping where it got filthy. After cleaning the rubber case, it still worked really well. It's been dropped a bunch too. This is an amazing speaker for it being small and on the cheaper side.

UPDATE: On/Off button does not depress. Speaker remains on until battery runs out. I received it on June 7 and ironically, on July 5 the button stopped responding and I'm already outside of the sellers return period! I've used it less than 15 times. Now, I'll contact Amazon to determine what to do. LOVE this little speaker. Size is so portable and it's not cheaply made. This speaker is so sturdy yet light weight. I saw a preview in which a guy threw/slammed it to the ground and it basically bounced back up. It pairs with our other Altec for stereo sound, yet this single speaker has such full sound we travel in the car with just the single. My advice? Purchase with confidence - it's definitely a keeper!

I use this all the time, It's great , I keep it at my desk when i'm working and charge it in my bedroom. sound is great for a little speaker system like this. If you have to have music like i do, this thing will be a keeper. Wish i could post pics but Amazon takes my pics down, not sure why. fully charged lasts for over 3 .5 hours. probably longer but thats how long i've used it before.

Some might want better battery life or better sound in large rooms, but this is a great value with more than adequate performance for a large bathroom and shower.
