Worth Five Stars
Out of the box comfortable! I have worn Tony Lama boots for decades and have always found them to be comfortable and long wearing. This pair is no exception. I ordered my usual size and width and the boots fit perfectly. They are well made and good looking - can be worn with anything from jeans to a suit. So far they seem to be durable. The Tony Lama boots did not require "breaking in." I walked all over San Antonio and Austin wearing these boots - literally miles - shortly after I purchased them - with no discomfort! I wear my western boots with light to mid-weight boot socks for point of reference. I do suggest wearing boot socks for both comfort and for improving the life of the boots. (I usually wear either Gold Toe or Wolverine brand socks - this is for reference with regard to fit, as different brands are of different degrees of thickness.) For those new to western boots, if you wear your boots inside the legs of your pants wearing boot socks prevents the boots rubbing on your legs. Again for those new to western boots, I would suggest getting both boot hooks and boot jacks. They are inexpensive and facilitate pulling your boots on and taking them off. There are numerous brands sold by Amazon as well as other vendors. I give these boots five stars based upon my experience with them.

Great Boots
This is my first pair of western boots. I chose Tony Lama because of all the great reviews, the amount of time they have been in business and because they are made in the USA. Another factor was they are constructed with sewn on leather soles which can be replaced. Boots made in China have soles that are glued. Not what I would expect in a good boot. Being my 1st pair of boots I somewhat guessed on the size. Going 1/2 size larger than I might normally go with depending on the shoe. I figured a boot would be a little narrow across the ball and since I have wider feet I ordered the EE which turned out to fit perfectly. I have read that a good fitting boot will have a small amount of heel slip when new. This is exactly how mine fit. Have wore them several days now and have had no discomfort at all. The leather is soft but supportive. The stitching is top notch. I have nothing to say bad. This was a great buy. To top it off I ordered them on a Monday and they were delivered free in 2 days. Received them on Wednesday. Completely satisfied. One piece of advise for new buyers of western boots. Buy a boot jack to go with your new boots. Otherwise it will take you forever to get your boots off.

Good fit, different color
I had read other's reviews of how these boots fit. Based on those reviews, I ordered a half size larger than usual. They fit just as I had anticipated. However, the color was not close to what is shown in the picture. I was really hoping for a color closer to what is seen here, but instead of a warm reddish-brown, they were a cooler brown. If you search the same boot name with Kango brown as the color you will get a more realistic idea of the color you will receive. Online ordering, what are you going to do.

Stylish and comfortable.
Never had a pair of boots before, but after purchasing these I wish I had done so years ago. Hard to find boots in narrow width, and these fit perfectly and are VERY comfortable. Look great too. Now I hope to find a pair in black to replace my dress shoes. Only advice I have is to go to a retail store that carries boots and try several on to find the correct size. Otherwise you will be uncomfortable and hate them. Get the right size and these boots are comfortable and stylish. BTW, I am 6'4" tall and these give me another 1-1/2" additional height, so keep that in mind if that is a factor for you.

Boots are beautiful
I expected the boots to fit a bit snug at first and then loosen up after wearing them around. I bought them a half size smaller than what I usually buy shoes (more specifically sneakers...Nike if you want a brand) to account for the break in. I should've bought them my normal sneaker size because they feel a bit too snug. I'm sure they will wear in nicely, but I have to put in some more wear time. The leather is really nice. I like them alot. The fit is similar to Corral boots.

Excellent fit.
Pretty hard to go wrong with a Tony Lama boot. Purchased at a very cheap price. Near perfect fit. Mine had a blemish about the size of a dime on the toe, as if they were seconds. I kept them due to price and fit. They are not that dressy a boot.

Ordered brown and recieved black
I knew was risky to order clothes or shoes but the price on these is great. I'll withhold further judgement to see how the return process works. Besides being wrong color, I can't even get foot in. I always just pick up 10.5 from shelf and always fits, but this is tiny 10.5. If I reorder, I'll probably try an 11. But first we'll see if any hassles on returnUPDATE: Amazon's return process is great. toughest part was finding a UPS drop off which was easy for me. I had choice of 4 locations within 3 blocks. I was worried it might take a while to actually get the refund but to my surprise, I was credited in full the same day I dropped off the package. After this pleasant process I decided to re order. This time in a half size larger in both length and width. The pair I received this time was in the correct color and fit great!. These are quality made boots that get more comfortable each time I put them on

Comfortable and easy to break in
A town boot, not necessarily for a lot of working or riding. Comfortable and easy to break in, due to fairly thin leather. Yes, the leather is an odd tan, but mink oil treatments will bring it back to earth. Workmanship is very good, like we do it in this country. Happy with this boot for what I got it for, which is comfortable casual wear. The leather sole is pretty nice.
