United Curtain Hamden Woven Waffle Valance, 57 by 14-Inch, Blue

These were exactly what I wanted. I actually am using them in a bathroom rather than the kitchen. They are thick enough that you can't see through them, and the ivory color is lovely - kind of a golden ivory - very clean looking, not a dirty looking ivory like some things are. Also, we love the "waffle weave" pattern which matches perfectly with the mirror we have. These curtains are really very pretty and of very good quality.

I am super happy with these simple swags. The color is more of a yellow, sorta like eggnog - as another reviewer pointed out, - and the color matches my decor exactly so I am pleased. The fabric texture is fine especially for the price. I didn't notice any imperfections. In fact, the quality is better than I anticipated. Plus, these swags are stiffer and do not droop, which is great because I didn't want fabric that would droop down. I have to say, the tiered shaping makes my tall, rectangular kitchen window look nice! Anyhow, these swags worked out well for my needs.By the way, my kitchen window is 34 inches wide (inside windowsill measurement), and I used a 7/16-Inch Diameter Spring Tension Rod to hang these curtains. Also, the longest point on the curtain measures at about 36 inches.If anyone has a question, please ask! Cheers!*******UPDATE ON JANUARY 19, 2019*********I really, really enjoyed having this curtain in my window for the past couple of years. However, I left the kitchen window open, and the wind picked up and......the waffle weave looked very tattered and beat-up from the wind with the threading becoming frayed. Bummer! So......don't leave your window open because this delicate little curtain cannot withstand that much tossing around. I thought I would share my experience so other customers didn't make this mistake.

The sage green color is perfect and the waffle weave very nice. However the measurements are VERY inaccurate. Each panel is 25 1/" wide (equaling 51") and 36" long; far cry from the 55" x 38" measurements given in the description. Definitely do not get the fullness you see in the photo which is what I wanted and because of the 4" size difference they don't fit my window.. When the 2 panels are hanging together 1 panel is 1" longer than the other one (where they meet in the center). While I really like these the size flaws are glaring and they'll have to be returned.

Usually curtains are measured from the rod pocket down. I ordered 36 inch length. These are 34 inches in length from the top of the curtain. They are way too short. It's a shame because they are beautiful (I got the green). They are a nice weight.

This is a nice swag curtain with nice material and also a great buy. However, I was very disappointed in the color. It's not the pretty pastel blue it shows in the pictures. At first I thought they sent me the sage green by mistake, but the package said blue. When my daughter saw them, she thought they were slate color. Bottom line is if you are looking for that pretty blue you see in the picture, this is not the curtain for you.

A nice enough valance with a waffle pattern and the "through the hoops" type rod attachment.I bought this to cover a window air conditioner so I could slide it aside when using the AC and slide it back in place when not using it (most of the time). I had to find the right size, and one with material not too heavy but also not too transparent, so it wouldn't take up too much space at the end of the rod or let the AC show through. This fit the bill after I adjusted the rod itself by using longer brackets. After ironing, it looks good enough and goes with my blue walls, and slides easily and accordions at the end of the rod. United Curtain also makes this in a navy color, which might have been a better choice for me, but it's the exact same curtain. Exactly matches the description and photo.

This item is as pictured, but sometimes it's hard to tell from a picture, and it was a little heavier and different than I expected. It is fine for the window now, and I expect that I will not find anything I like better unless I make it myself, which I didn't have time to do. I haven't cleaned it yet, but I expect it will do fine in the washer/dryer.

This size curtain is hard to find. I purchased three pairs to use on three entrance doors. I hung them with tension rods between the panes, but I didn't like the way the bottoms looked. So I purchased additional rods and threaded the bottom hems of the curtains into those rods, and now they look very "finished." Very happy with this purchase.

These curtains are definitely NOT ivory they’re more of a yellow colour. They do not go with my kitchen walls at all so I promptly returned them.

I really love these curtains but wanted blackout and now I can’t return these. I had to decide between two sets of curtains and am past date.

They are good quality and fit perfectly. Color is more yellow than ivory.
