Fitted good on my 50lb dog, bought it for him to wear on valentine's. Over all good only thing was it attracted lint and his hair.

I am the sole proprietor of my business Swags Pet Care. I do boarding, dog-walks, daycare, etc... I actually bought these for 2 dogs that I was boarding for their parents' wedding. I was caring for them during their stressful wedding week, and they asked me to bring the dogs to the wedding for a couple hours as well, which I happily agreed to. I covertly investigated the color theme of the wedding, and also discovered that the groomsmen would be wearing bowties (their dad is infamous for wearing bowties on the daily, so it made perfect sense), and then I bought these bowtie collars for them as a surprise to their parents. It was especially beneficial that I did because they told me 2 days before the wedding that I was going to be the ring bearer and walking down the isle with the dogs! Their parents were overcome with joy at the site of their boys in these handsome maroon bowties...and I was so gratified by how amazing they looked on them. I read some reviews in which people mentioned that they were using them as the dog's primary collar, and that they were disappointingly not durable. In my opinion, these collars should not be used as walking collars. Although, I did walk them with just these collars during the wedding and the reception; I took off their ugly everyday collars. I had no problem controlling them and the collars felt very sturdy; one of them pulls really hard. If you have a dog that doesn't pull and is a proper walker, then they could definitely be used as an everyday walking collar without a doubt. But if your pup pulls hard, or even pulls occassionaly, then I wouldn't recommend these because they will just choke your dog, which can eventually lead to throat injuries and potentially tracheal collapse. If your dog is a puller, this item would not be ideal...I would definitely recommend a harness above all else in that case. Gentle leaders are also effective and can give you lots of control, but they are not necessarily in the best interest of the dog. First of all, dogs really dislike wearing them. Anything foreign on their face or head is not copacetic. They can also cause neck injuries from having their neck twisted from side to side. I've also witnessed damage to their jowels from continous rubbing, and even discoloration of the hair across the dog's snout. These collars are merely a niche item and should be used in an accessory-type fashion, unless the exception stated above applies. Ideal for special events like a wedding for sure! If I ever get invited to another wedding in which I will be bringing their pups, I will definitely be purchasing these again. And the price is very reasonable!

Although these collars are VERY good quality, these are clearly for dogs only. They are FAR too large for my kitties!!

Our cat would have destroyed it. He only wore it once for Christmas pictures.

I originally got this for my boxer to wear for my moms wedding. Yes he was apart of it.I forgot all about it until months later so he’s been wearing as a collar because he hates his other one.It’s been almost a year and it’s held up pretty well. The only thing is after it got worn down a little if my dog tugged or pulled it would tighten so badly around his neck. If I had not taken it off before we went in ( like I always do when I take his leash off) then I wouldn’t have realized.Otherwise your little(or big) guy is going to look like a distinguished gentleman and that’s all that matters ? Lmao. Jk.

My gorgeous boy looked smart on our wedding day. Item reasonably priced and arrived promptly. We chose the blue check to match my husband's waistcoat. It is an actual collar so just attach your own lead.

I bought this collar to put on my dog to walk me down the isle and it fits lovely and is perfect for what we want, wouldn't be very good in much rain but i hope it doesn't come to that.overall lovely item
