Product Description Optifibre is a powdered soluble dietary fibre that provides effective and natural solution against constipation. Effective because it manages chronic constipation and other symptoms related, such as bloating and gas. Optifibre rebalances the gut flora. It is a neutral flavour with no taste, No smell and no texture so it can be easily mixed into hot and cold liquids and foods. Shown to have a significant improvement in frequency of bowel movements and faecal volume. Shown to reduce abdominal pain and bloating by 50% in chronically constipated patients. Significantly increases good bacteria. Suitable for anyone suffering from frequent or chronic constipation, bloating and gas, inflammatory bowel syndrome or for the dietary management of people with intestinal transit disorders. Ingredients: partially hydrolysed Guar gum. May contain Milk. Gluten free. Optifibre is also available in individual sachets. Preparation and dosage: dilute 1 level scoop ( 5g of Optifibre = 4.3g soluble fibre) in 200ml of liquid or 150g of food. Stir until the powder is fully dissolved. Recommended daily dosage: 5-25g of Optifibre per day or as recommended by a health Care Professional. Increase dosage gradually. For optimal solubility, do not use in carbonated drinks or sparkling water. Storage instructions: close tin tightly after each use and store in a cool dry place, out of REACH OF young children. Instructions and packaging in French
The instructions for the product are in French.When I complained to Amazon they were profoundly unhelpful and said I should ‘contact the seller’ (it was sold and dispatched by Amazon).I do not know if the French product is the same as the UK product or what the instructions say, and for that reason alone I am scoring it low.

Great product.No taste or thickness when added to any liquid. I think this can also be used in yoghurts.I accidentally bought the wrong size so turned out to be expensive so please check the size of the tub before purchase.

It is difficult to utilise a product when the instructions for use are in a foreign language. These appear to be in French.

Good for gut!
Very good for gut health. It's a bulking fibre, can cause wind and bloating so I always drink it in the afternoon after work! Mix with hot or cold drinks - tea, coffee, soups etc. You cannot taste it.

Very expensive for the size of tub and the instructions were written completely in French. That meant it was very hard to figure out how much water to mix it with etc etc

Expensive for what it is and I don’t think it’s ok that good considering what else their is on the market that is far better for bowels
