Bought this chair for my wife. Her job is intense, and she spends most of her time in front of a computer. In her case, a quality chair is worth the cost. The seller had the chair shipped out immediately and it arrived early. I've seen reviews that putting this chair together is difficult and the quality is poor. First, if you can't put this chair together blindfolded, give your tools away before you hurt someone. Btw -chair comes with only tool required to assemble it. Second, I'd like to see the chair(s) that are of a higher quality. Great looking design as well. My wife loves the chair. She is in her first week, probably still fine tuning the numerous adjustments. She loves the massage/heat feature. She is always cold, so no need for the cooling option. Bottom line, great seller, great chair - don't let the folks with negative reviews scare you off. If you can justify the cost, we believe it's worth it...

I'm not too sure what I think about this chair. I just opened the box and put it together this morning. One of the reviewers was right ... it's easy to assemble. Very good assembly instructions. I'm just shy of 70 and I have a bad back but I was able to put it together myself in 20 minutes or so. The box it comes in is huge and weighs a ton though so beware of that.It's a nice looking chair. As for comfort I feel like I'm sitting on a board. There is no cushion in the seat. What I mean by that is of course the seat is padded but it feels like it's just a little bit of padding over a board. I wish the backrest could be adjusted one notch higher as it's too low on the highest setting to be even with the small of my back. I'm disappointed that a leather chair has plastic armrests but they are adjustable and comfortable. I don't use them when I'm typing on my keyboard anyway so they really aren't a big issue. The chair came with a headrest but I left it off as I know I'm not going to be using it.One thing I need to add is the chair doesn't roll very easily. I have a carpeted floor in my office so I have a chair mat at my desk. The heaviness of this chair causes the wheels to dig into the mat and then I have to use a lot of force to get them to move.Sitting in a chair before buying it is not always possible. I bought this chair based on many positive reviews all over the internet and on the radio as well. I'm hoping with a bit more adjusting and maybe some "breaking in time" that it will become the comfortable chair I expected it to be, but right now I am disappointed. Sending it back is not an option as I'm sure the FedEx cost would be astronomical.I will revise my review if things change.

Seller was very professional and responsive. They shipped the product very quickly. I couldn't get the color I selected but I got an upgrade. The chair is very comfortable and very helpful for people who have back pain and need lumbar support. If you have back pain, this is the chair for you.

I'm sad to say I'm not very happy with this chair. I'd been researching chairs and reading reviews for a while. I decided on this chair because it was said to be the best chair for people with back problems. The icing on the cake was that orange is my favorite color. I know good chairs are pricey, and I was finally willing to shell out some money for a great chair. I ordered it. It even arrived a week early! I was so excited. The assembly was very straight forward, and I put it together in no time. I sat on it. I said, "ahhhhhhh" as I fell backward and let the SciFloat Infinite Recline do it's thing. That part was really great. I followed several tutorials to get the chair adjusted to suit my comfort, but it still doesn't feel quite right. I should be able to feel the lumbar support jutting into my lower back, but none of the preset positions do that. My particular pain point IS my low back, and this was most of the reason I wanted this chair. The description said it would move with me. It does, but I'm not getting the support that I need.The worst part about this chair is that it is NOT comfortable to sit in all day. I wish I would have known that there was a version of this chair on the manufacturer's website that came with extra padding. I definitely would have paid an extra $100 for that. If the chair were more comfortable, I might be able to overlook the lumbar issue. For as much as this chair costs, I should be happier. Sadly, I regret this.

Hands down, best chair I have ever owned. Since starting to work at home, I have been through two other chairs, that were supposed to be good, but still had back pain by end of day. This one is so comfortable, great support, and even looks good. I am a chiropractor and do recommend this chair.

This is our second X Chair purchase so we knew it would be high quality and very comfortable. It’s heavy because it’s heavy duty but I received the wrong color. Ordered the beautiful orange tan but received boring white. Too heavy to return. Bummed with this purchase overall.

If I can figure out a way to make the adjustable lumbar support stay at the height I need it (top notch of 4 available), I will change my rating to a 5. I didn't get the headrest because it's for work. I love the leather's warmth, it helps my back. I LIKE the arm rest adjustment options. The wheels roll very nicely also. Chair looks good too. I am 5'6 and it IS almost too tall at the lowest chair height for me, in case that info is helpful.UPDATED to 5-star - I love this chair. the leather warms my always sore lower back, lumbar support adjusts to height I need mine to be, and it stays put unless I move it (adjusts easily). Still rolls smoothly, looks great. Trying to talk my husband into getting one for his home office. I've been through 5-6 different style, ergo claimed chairs. This one has been the most effective, IMO, worth the dollars.

This chair is even better than I expected. I was surprised by the high quality construction and the ease of assembly. In just a couple of days my neck and back pain are gone. I can’t slouch if I tried, and yet I’m completely comfortable during my entire work day as a software developer.
