The Lab mini pin kit is a perfect add on for me it fits in the bag with my Kwikset kit and will take care of the few lock that I run into that aren't Kwikset. Look at the measurements. It is smaller than I thought it would be but it works great for me.

I love the size of this kit and the price compared to it's bigger brother. This is perfect for the hobbyist or small property owner.The problem is they the kit is incomplete and not as described. I ordered this specifically to pin Kwikset locks which are advertised as being supported. But the kit does not contain all of the pin sizes listed on the Kwikset card in the case. With Kwikset being the most popular residential lock in use in North America this seems like a pretty big oversight. It also makes the kit mostly useless to me. I will need to return it and buy the full size kit instead.

Compact and nice. I wouldn’t toss it around, but a good basic kit.

I love the kit as a small toolbox add on. Everything is easily laid out and the quality on the case is better than the tool kit I keep it in. I just wish they made the pin wells deeper so they were less lickely to slip from one size well to another. I guess thats why they put so much thought into the color coding though...

I am a licensed locksmith and I think that this kit is a great setup for smaller jobs like a house rekey, or just an all around great carry kit to have in carry bag. If you're starting out this is a good place to start if you're concerned about money.
