Leonardo da Vinci: The Complete Works

I should have read the description- the size of the book very small. Extremely informative and lots of pictures. Some of the pictures are split between two pages. Over all ok - just small

Be aware this this is a small book, and you will not be able to view the paintings in very great detail. However, this is a good book to have when referring to S. da Vinci's art on the go and you don't want to lug around a huge book and it's also nice to have when pressed for space. As it says, it's a complete catalog of S. da Vinci's work and the pictures are quite beautiful, even at such a minute size.This is a good book for art-aficionados, art-students, those that want to be prepared when going to museums to acclimate themselves with the works, and anything and everything in-between. As previously mentioned, it's a nice book to have when you're on-the-go.

This is a good and very BASIC book about Leonardo da Vinci's works. If you want to look for BASIC information for a speech, it has almost all the information that you need. And the pictures make it look more understandable.Even though it is not a picture collection book, it is useful for those who need information to work with and for those who want to know more about Leonardo da Vinci in a basic way.Overall it is a good book, with each "hard made material" page and color page, that help us get a clear start in learning about Leonardo da Vinci.Hope this Help :)

Way too small. Almost a joke. I would be comical if it was free.Please save you money and buy something bigger.

This is a complaint of Amazon's selling page more than the book itself. I had no idea this book was only a few inches small. After receiving it, I went back and scrolled thru the ad and found the size buried way down the page past all the adds, similar items, other items entirely, reviews, etc. The item you are trying to buy needs to be clearly described before all the additional ads, items and other crap on the page. I would not have bought this if the size had been clearly stated at the top of the page.

The book is small, but the quality and selection of works is good.

Perhaps I missed a portion of the description, but I expected this to be a nicer, LARGER, hardcover book. It's only about 5" square. The info is okay, but it was not what I expected.

No problem about the content, it's great, it's da Vinci. But please beware of the size. This is a true pocket book, as if it's shrunk in the dryer. If you are looking for large sized photos and drawings like I was, don't forget to check the product dimensions which unfortunately I did.

I was very excited to receive the complete works of Leonardo Da Vinci... What an absolutely e fascinating mind he had. Responsible for some truly beautiful paintings and I was so excited to observe them.... You will need a magnifine glass to do so. The book is so small!!!!Truly disappointed, I expected it to be A4 side per page... Guess I should have read the small print!

It was a small book not what I expected and I gave it to my son as I wanted a large format for photos and more text.

Anything wrong with any Leonardo book

Bought this because I love davinci but was bitterly disappointed when this arrived. It is very small and doesn't do the artist justice. Gave two stars instead of one because it is quite comprehensive.
