This blackout lining is great and comes ready cut to exactly the size of a standard curtain, so saved me a great deal of hassle trying to cut such large bits of material. Very easy to see and works a treat.

This blackout material is great, blocks out so much more light. Makes the room nice and dark, my curtains match bedding snd as lining had come away i didn't want to throw away my curtains. I ordered this blackout material expecting it to be thd same that was on curtains originally, but wow the room is so much darker than previous and they were meant to be blackout. So glad i bought this material, which id had this level of blackout originally. So if you are buying to line curtains, and you want a nice dark room, then this is for you. Great purchase and would reccomend this company, arrived within a few days.

Bits of backing come off when washed at 30deg.. bits more peel off when u hang them outside to dry for days. (I have to wash anything like this upfront to minimise off gassing , due to to chem allergies ). However the black areas which showed thru the peel off are facing the curtain so don't show, also it makes no difference to the blackout effect. So unless the curtains these linings back onto are fairly transparent (in which case the peeled black bits will show thru the curtain) it doesn't really matter. Also most people will not be washing them for 5 years or more.

Used to line a few sets of curtains. Material is lightweight, offers complete blackout and is easy to work with. Good value and quality

-Compared to competitor's polyester-backed material which weigh about 70% the weight of this: this poly-cotton backed material comes smelly and highly creased which is not so easy to resolve, it's not just a case of pulling it tight as with polyester-backed.+The rubberised side of the poly-cotton type is actually whiter than some polyester-only backed material.

Bought to be used a a projector screen. It's very thick and was perfect for the job. Great value at a great price.
