Good longer cable TSA lock for my rod case..

I love it makes me feel more secure knowing my bag is locked

These little locks aren’t really there for security — but they do help with peace of mind if well made. These seem to be well made. I am not afraid of my luggage accidentally coming open and scattering my underwear between Boston and Denver. Quick to set and with numbers that contrast with the metal (why do they manufacture so many devices with the buttons, or numbers, the SAME color as the background — rendering them unreadable?) it is easy to use.

Just be sure the lock’s cord is in the locked position before setting a new code. As far as setting the code, easy-peasy.

Well, my life is always weird and what happened with this lock isn't different. I flew to the Philippines and decided to get these so the TSA could open them and close them without destroying anything. Trip to the Philippines was fine. (the lock was fine. the trip there was chaos) It was on the way back, in Dallas where I had a problem.I misunderstood that I needed to go through customs in Dallas rather than my final destination back in the US. As I'm waiting for my next flight I get a call asking me if I wanted to abandon my checked bag. Obviously, no. So they stated TSA would search the bag and it might make it on my flight, might not. I think great, flying has been a nightmare anyway, why would this end differently?In the back of my mind, I thought, Oh, I'm going to get to see how this lock works. Nope, TSA kept the lock, as well as a kidney stone I had passed in the Philippines and was saving for the Dr. (tmi, I know) On top of that, they destroyed another zipper on the bag that didn't have a lock at all. So, I guess I can say the lock worked even better than not having it on.So, I think the lock worked. I have a second one to test out again in the future. Setting the code and all that is easy. I read the instructions and didn't have a problem. Using the lock was easy as well.

Works good...like the longer cord

Didn't know exactly what to expect when purchasing, but sure glad I did. The lock is precise, dials turn nicely, very easy to read and operate. This cable end snaps into place, and is ejected lightly when pressing the open button. Very nice lock. I use it to secure my riding bag on my motorcycle.
