Worth the money!
Great spice, well flavored, promt delivery. I love to cook but I dont cook with this spice very often but when i do its handy to have in the cupboard. Worth the money

Robust flavor!
This is the best five spice powder I have ever purchased! Very flavorful! It doesn’t even lose flavor after cooking, like some other brands. Five spice powder is very difficult to find in my local stores and markets. In fact, I couldn’t even find it in either of our Asian markets. Thank you for carrying this, Amazon!

Delicious taste & aroma but is expensive for small size and non-organic product.
I really prefer organic ingestibles but wanted to try this brand of Five Spice powder due to the order of the ingredients used, with anise being first. Others I've tried had too much cinnamon which ruined the spice blends.I find this blend to be delicious with a lovely complex flavor and aroma. However, the bottle is very small for the price of non-organic spices; and the bottle itself seems made of very cheap plastic.

Strong anise or something flavor
The one of the flavors is so strong that I couldn’t bare to eat it. I used a couple of sprinkles and the anise or one of the spices taste is strong. Too strong for me. Someone else had stated the same thing. Now I should say I don’t know what 5 spice is supposed to taste like but if this is true authentic, then I will never use this spice mixture. I’m not going to say it’s bad, just not for my liking.

Almost perfect.
This compares to my homemade blend with one exception. I don't use bay leaves, but this blend does. If you don't have time or wrist strength to grind your own, this will serve one handsomely. Expect traditional 5 spice flavor. I will keep at least one jar of this on hand for a quick fix.The flavor was tasty. The spice was fresh and not stale or clumped together. It comes with a double seal which one has to remove in order to access the spice. Flowed real nice. With the added bay leaf, I'm sure traditional cooks who prefer it, will be very happy it was included. Be well all!
