Saved my childhood .22
So my childhood .22 stopped ejecting rounds about 10 years ago. I replaced the extractor and cleaned it I don’t know how many times. It had sat in the back safe for too many years. It was time to fix it or trash it. I red online that this stuff takes out hardened carbon build up and it can mirror polish the bore. So I said what do I have to loose. It was right on all occasions. A YouTube video said to first clean the bore normally then run “Kroil” penetrating oil through it and let it set over night. Around noon the next day I ran the JB Bore Bright through it and was shocked. I was getting mostly white bore patches the night before and now I was getting black nasty patches coming out. It was amazing that that much gunk was left over from a normal cleaning. I looked down the breach and could see the floor reflecting in the end of the bore. Now everything functions normally and I am so happy.

This stuff can work magic on heavily fouled, rusted, or pitted barrels. For light duty, a cleaning rod will work. For heavy duty on a badly fouled/rusted/pitted barrel, get a drill.

This is hands down the best polisher I have or will ever need to use. Coupled with the blue J-B cleaner it the best 1/2 punch for any barrel no matter what its condition. Just make sure you pack it on if needed and pass the brush 20-30 times. This thing will polish your barrel to a mirror finish. Pricey but you use less to get a faster/better result.
