Why i rate DalyElectric highly extraordinary is simple. They listen to my shortcoming with their product i ordered and worked with me to make sure i'm taking care of and satisfied.I bought an 8S 100A LiFePO4 BMS to replace my old one I purchase through their AlieExpress website months ago. This old stopped working an shut down both my Solar Charge Controllers. Although it's been almost a year, they worked with me in helping me solve the problem.While waiting for my replacement to arrive i manage to get the old one to work. I notified DalyElectric I do not need a replacement and asked for a return. They mentioned that the cost of the return is more than the product and asked if I'm willing to keep it for a 30% reimbursement.Although I really didn't need it...their gesture of good faith and willingness to make it right won me over and i excepted their offer to hold on to it for a 30% reimbursement.I would not hesitate to buy from them again and their customer service is outstanding.Thank You Daly Electric!

Daly is almost (?) a house hold name when it comes to brand-name BMS's it seems. It was the first brand I looked toward but being from the North, I had to be sure I purchased a unit that both suited my battery load needs as well as having low temperature disconnect. The product advertisement shows that it does, and there is an external temp probe on the unit, I just question whether or not it will work as I tried a salted ice-water test, to which it did nothing. I later read in the manual that low-temp disconnect is set for -7C. That low of a rating is not acceptable (unless it's low temp load disconnect) as charging the batteries below 0C (32F) will irreparably damage the batteries. I am going to take caution until I can determine its effectiveness. Aside from that, it is a solid looking unit that was easy to assemble with the battery bank. It does work as intended when it comes to balancing, overcharge disconnect, and low voltage disconnect. Some argue that the low end is high, but it will ensure longer battery life of your expensive battery bank- I think I will be okay with that.

Works well other than how the low voltage shutdown operates. 3.5 stars

One of the fets blew less than a year after the install destroying a $700 battery. Also never saw anywhere on this page, or in the documentation, that said not to connect in parallel. Junk.

I bought two balancers, each 150A installed, on two sets of batteries, none of them includes balancing, the difference in battery volts is very large
