The brush is unusual and takes a bit of getting used too, but does the job and takes 3 toilet rolls so space saving.

This Joseph Joseph Flex Store Toilet Brush is a little different in several ways. First and most obviously, the holder comes with an area to place the toilet cleaner in. Now this seems so obvious that I wonder why there aren't more brush holders like this. There may be a few cleaning bottles that don't fit, but the usual toilet duck style bottles are no issue, including Tesco's own ones.Secondly, the brush itself is very different. The head is rubber rather than bristles and therefore cleans itself well after use by keeping it in the flushing water. It has little spikes on which really work to get the toilet bowl clean and, most importantly, it can bend around the bottom of the bowl, fantastic stuff.Well worth a buy if you're fed up with standard toilet brushes not cleaning properly.

At first I thought this was a bad idea. A toilet roll holder and toilet brush combined? Surely water would get onto the toilet paper and ruin it. It turns out the new style of brush doesn't drip or retain water and you can turn the holder round to protect the rolls. As for the cleaner, it bends into the parts that are hard to reach- such as the pan below the water line- and is well made. Plus, you won't be snagging any bits of toilet paper if you forget to flush or have a blocked loo. This is a definite improvement on the brushes we know so well, I would happily buy one myself. My only concern is, how the makers will defend the intellectual copyright. My brush is in the bin where it now belongs.

This loo brush is brilliant!, it's the only one i have ever had that doesn't come away with 'bits' stuck to it.. It is so much more hygienic than the bristle brushes, and the shape is excellent for getting round corners and up inside the rim.The storage underneath is also an excellent idea and i use this either for bottles of cleaner or loo rolls.Excellent item.Arrived quickly and well packaged and i would 100% recommend.

After a further week of use I have revised my opinion of this brush and deducted a star.This is a smart, good looking, fits with most decors and colour scheme loo brush and holder.But it is a lot more than that rather than the traditional brush you get a slimmer tough silicon brush with nodules all around.But the test is does it clean the loo bowl as effectively as the traditional bristle type?After a few weeks use I have come to the conclusion that it does not, you really need to hang on to the bristles.Now getting to basics this can be a big advantage in making clearing your loo easier- we all know what we are talking about. This device will push and break up even the biggest Blind Eels, Mud Sharks or whatever you call them. With ease. It is a lot cleaner than the old bristles and should last a lot longer.But I'm still not convinced it is the best cleaner of the loo bowl and I must admit I miss the design of the older bristle for getting to all the nooks and crannies.This brush simply did not remove the skidmarks well.So for that reason I have deducted one star.It is a rather smart looking item in grey and white.As you'd expect from the name the Flex Store Toilet Brush with Extra-Large Caddy is just that extra large and is quite big.Now, this is fine if you want to store up to three loo rolls or in my case one of those oversized bottles of bleach and the like. As you would expect from Joseph Joseph this is a total redesign of the humble toilet brush. The brush itself looks very different from the traditional design, less a brush than a rubbery pad with rubbery teeth sticking out. The pad is flatter than usual and also has teeth on the top - to help you clean under the rim. It all seems a very clever design and likely to get less clogged with unmentionables than the traditional design. In addition the caddy is a little larger than a normal "loo brush holder" and the extra space can be used to store 3 spare loo rolls or one big or a couple of smaller cleaning/bleach bottles.All in all a great design.
