This book contains a good variety of verbal reasoning question-types and provides relevant practise of working at the speed required by GL 11+ tests. However...Previous reviewers have highlighted that there are incorrect answers in the book - these result from the the way that the answers to some of the questions involving BODMAS have been answered. I believe that the answers given have been calculated using each letter of BODMAS sequentially and individually rather than acknowledging that the division and multiplication elements and the addition and subtraction elements of an equation have equal weighting and so are completed from left to right in order as the calculation is written. I have worked through the book and I have found that the following questions have incorrect answers:Test 5 - Questions 2, 3 and 9Test 45 - Question 10Test 54 - Question 9There may be more - these are those that I have spotted so, if anyone finds additional incorrect answers, I would be grateful if you could let me know in a comment below.Despite these few errors I would recommend this practice book as, overall, it offers relevant practise in terms of question-types, timing and format for GL 11+ tests - just don't rely on the answers being accurate for the maths-type questions and work through these questions with your child once they've finished the numerical tasks.

I love how quick these tests are. An easy thing to slip in between activities-they barely know they’ve done anything!

Several of the BODMAS questions have the wrong answers. I’m not impressed.
