Mad Fly Sports Raptor Football, Ultimate Long Distance Flying Toy Football Glider Plane for Kids and Adults

I bought this for my kid and I to throw at the park. We already had regular football, but I wanted to get us something special and unique to throw around. I gave this ball a shot and I can say that I absolutely love it!::Setup::The setup was pretty easy and I was able to get everything together in a matter of minutes. Just follow the instructions and you'll be done in no time. The "hardest" part was putting on the stickers. If you can put stickers on paper, you can put it on the ball with ease.::Throwing the ball::First, it's important to note that you do not throw this like a regular football. You have to change your grip a little and throw it in a slightly different motion. Check the videos for the details. It took about 5 throws for me to get it down and then after that...and boy did this thing go! I would say by my 7th throw, I was able to throw it about 75 to 80 yards. Not bad for a beginner!It took my kid slightly longer to learn how to throw it, but I would say by the 10th throw, it was able to go about 50 yards, which is pretty impressive!::Overall::We love it! I wanted to find some time to spend with my kid and this was a good excuse to get us out on the field and start launching this. It's a ton of fun. Don't be surprised when you start noticing people watching you launch this. I even had one person cheer us on!

Well it never showed up so I would say it has sub par durability as it cannot even be delivered to the house and may not be made of visible particles, at least in this dimension. As a matter of fact it may not even exist, for all I really know about this product is it makes $60 disappear out of my bank account without showing itself in the visible universe.

Pros: it is durably made, which is essential considering its cons.Cons: it is extremely difficult to throw. My younger son couldn’t get it to fly at all. My old son and I could only get it to fly occasionally and even then it was for very short distances. We spent several hours on several different days to no avail. Very frustrating product, money better spent on an actual football.

This is a real garbage product with poor instructions to put together ... I am very handy, took forever to put it together ... and at the end, after all that trouble, it does not fly -- it nose dives down -- do not waste your money, it looks cool, but it is trash

Awesome football to go out and throw around with friends. It took me a couple hours to get used to throwing it with consistency but once I figured it out it was a blast. I found it easier to throw if I held it directly in front vs winding it back over the shoulder. The instructions were clear and precise and only took minutes to put together. I'm quite impressed with its durability and potential to glide long distances. The wall hanger for the football makes it convenient to store without taking too much room. Love this purchase.

Plane sliced me and my child’s hands open, seriously deep bleeding gash, each of the first time we tried to catch it. Never played with it again. We did not use enough to practice and learn how far it could fly due to the dangerousness. It’s heavy, even for an 8 year-old to throw. Interesting idea, terrible execution.

This is a very unique and fun product! It takes some time to assemble, but well worth it. If you’re looking for something fun and challenging, this definitely meets the criteria. I played football for years and was expecting to start throwing this thing 60+ yards like the videos. Boy I was wrong... (Full disclosure - I can’t throw a real football that far) You can definitely get there, but not without some practice. The technique is completely different than a football. Think paper airplane, frisbee, and football rolled into one. I highly recommend you watch the instructional video first, so you can build some confidence when you take it out.

I purchased the Mad Fly Raptor Football for my two boys 8 and 10 years old so that we can throw something similar to a football but with greater distance. My 10-year-old easily assembled it out of the box and we did struggle at first throwing it. After watching the very informative videos online my 8-year-old immediately started throwing it across a very large field. The Raptor football is awesome and keeps the kids busy for hours.
