Great for cleaning cast iron skillets

I've used this product all my life and my mother used it. Unfortunately the stores no longer carry these. I can't understand why because this is a great product. It doesn't stain your sink, it doesn't fall apart, it doesn't take long to get your pots and pans clean. I am so happy that someone still has these. Thank you Amazon!!!!!

Very handy, non-rusting scrubbers when one needs something less hard and scratching than stainless steel. They can be used on most stainless, glass and brass without leaving scratches if one is careful and uses moderate pressure. A great addition to my kitchen cleaning and washing supplies.

Be prepared to replace this produce for a heavy duty project. It stands up well to remove caked on food stuff.

Bought because copper surface does not collect bacteria! So I was told,and rags and sponge's do.

So these are authentic chore boys - but I estimate - only estimate, that on my shipment - each chore boy had the majority of the "inner" copper material removed. So if you "need" chore boy - this will do - but poor value as mot of the pad is missing. I wouldn't have wrote this review except I thought of my grandma buying these for pan scrubbing and receiving these wimpy gutted scour pads. I am throwing a heads up - if your buying these for scrubbing, and you have bought these before, you will be sadly disappointed.I was not disappointed as I use mine for design, decoration on my tiny town, so I do not have a great need for an abundance.Subtracted 2 stars for the deceptive tactic = everything else was correct.

These pads are good quality. However, they are quite small compared to my stainless steel scouring pads. Copper is much more expensive than stainless and is probably the reason for the size. That said, I didn't actually purchase them to clean dishes, I used them in my electroplating solution. These work great for that.

I much rather using copper scrubbing pads over the numerous stainless steel pads you see in the supermarkets. I find that the copper scrubbing pads are easier on your pots and pans when scrubbing scorched on food in a pot, especially with cast iron. To me, they damage the seasoning of your cast iron much less than stainless steel pads or scotch brite pads. And these are true all copper, not copper coated stainless steel too. It's hard to find genuine Chore Boy copper scrubbing pads locally and Amazon has them at a reasonable price.
