Leifheit25703 Roll Holder, Parat White/Grey

This item is so perfect and works wonderfully! This was the only one I could find that would suit my purpose; thank you for making and providing this item. It fits all regular size rolls but not the really thick paper towels or plastic rolls; but the length is perfect where others were only made for really short rolls, which are not items that are regularly sold in the U.S. I do not have any other place, or space, to put such an item and this one is so perfect! It cut really well too, both place and foil; and the first time. Price was good for me also; thank you for that as well.

This product works really well. I was very happy with it. The only problem is a lot of the different brands of paper towels do not fit in the holder, so you have to try out different brands to see what fits. I found that the cheap 50 cent paper towels from Walmart fit the best. I have not tried many big name brands. This is a German product so maybe that's why the size is off. But other than that it achieves exactly what I want.

...although I must say it was quite difficult to set up. Perhaps I am not as smart as I think I am, but there are a few things that are not obvious about the setup.The first is that my instinct would have told me to pull the plastic wrap/foil through the same slot that the cutter is on track with, however there is a larger slot below that that is the intended dispensing point. I tried many failed attempts to cut while it was in the wrong slot, and thought there must be a problem with the cutter until I took a closer look at how it worked.The second thing is that (unless mine has a defect) the top cutter is different from the bottom cutter, and the top cutter is the only one that will successfully cut the plastic wrap. If you put them in in the wrong order, you will have trouble.I am using the paper towel dispenser as a dish towel holder, as I already have a paper towel dispenser I am fond of, and other reviews say that it is a tight fit when using standard US sized paper towel rolls.Aside from the confusion, I am really enjoying it, the cutters cut very well as long as you use the right ones and it is a great space saver and a way to get around the cheap packaging of foil and plastic wrap that will inevitably fall apart five minutes after you purchase it.Furthermore, I would assume that the mistakes I made in setting it up could have been easily avoided by simply reading the instructions, and therefore cannot blame the product. I have a terrible habit of discarding instructions immediately, which I chalk up to a combination of macho-ism and stupidity.The only complaint I have about the product itself is that the release mechanism to remove the top is a piece of the flexible plastic that makes up the rest of the dispenser, and the top is released by pressing two of these tabs inward, which would not be a problem if not for the fact that one of them leans a bit inward as it is, causing the top to come off accidentally. I corrected that to an extent by applying a bit of pressure from the inside, which bent it outward a bit, but this may not be a permanent solution.All in all I think it is well made and well designed given the price, just take care to set it up properly.

Love the product and the delivery was very fast.

This is a wonderful product. it is easy to use and cuts down on the clutter in drawers or shelves where you keep your foil and other wraps and paper towels. It only holds a "normal" sized roll of paper towels not the double rolls that may be an issue for some but I just switched back to the regular sized rolls and I am very glad I did. Would not want to be without this again.

I am TERRIBLE at tearing plastic wrap from the box it normally comes in, so this product is GREAT. I actually quit using cling wrap just because I never could get it to tear right. But then i bought this... and everything changed. This particular item holds cling wrap, aluminum foil, and paper towels. It is easy to install and fill, and makes tearing both the cling wrap and aluminum foil VERY easy. I would like to point out, though, that this is a European product, and (me being german, I know this) over there the paper towel rolls are just SLIGHTLY narrower than over here in the U.S. This isn't much of an issue because the paper towels here do fit in the holder, they're just snug (which I like because you don't have to worry about the whole roll coming undone when you're trying to pull one off). I've had this now for quite a while, and I've also talked my mom into buying one for herself. It's a great product and I would definitely recommend.

I was surprised at how thin the plastic molding is. Works fine but I hope it does not get brittle over time. Particularly concerned about the latches that would require the most movement over time. The roller cutter will cut plastic wrap perfectly but cannot cut aluminum foil. Looking to see if I can find thinner foil or use it for parchment paper. I use foil more so would be better if it could cut foil better.

Although it does not fit our rolls we just use the roll a couple of days then it fits in fine. The length fits fine. I like this unit because it looks fine under the cupboards. It doesn't have to be hidden.
