Review: It made my hard water taste soft and fresh like no filter I've ever tried - It made my hard water taste soft and fresh like no filter I've ever tried. I live surrounded by commercial blueberry fields and even though they are called "wild" they are sprayed heavily, industrially with a dozen or more chemicals. So I've been filtering my water for 20 years just to be on the safe side. My water also has a high copper content. I like that the charcoal imparts some minerals because super filtered water is depleted of these and I think drinking it deprives your body of these consequently causing it to take them from your bones. I've used my sticks in a clear glass container with a flexible silicon lid, I like that there is no plastic involved in the filtering process. A wonderful product, I wonder why we can't make them in the U.S.? I wonder if I could make them myself in my wood stove? :) ha, ha! Seriously though, how are these sticks different from the burnt coals in my wood stove? Review: Holy crap it works! - It works. I mean it actually works. I was so skeptical, because I mean, it’s a stick for goodness sake lol but it genuinely does work. Our well water has a very heavy mineral taste so we’ve been using a brita filter for quite some time. I got tired os using so much plastic so I decided to give this a try. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but my water tastes crisp and clean now. Even my husband was impressed. It tastes as good as the brita and nothing is going to a landfill. It’s a win win.

Definitely buy; just not on Amazon!!
I love these filters and they work well. But I advise everyone not to buy this from Amazon. I ordered a 2-pack and was sent only one filter. I contacted Amazon about the issue and was told to return the single filter and a new 2-pack would be sent. I sent back the filter and received the 2-pack, but AMAZON DOUBLE CHARGED ME FOR THE ITEM. When I tried to contact them they gave me no recourse.

Love these!
Fantastic! I initially had a quart size bottle for one, then switch to a 3 gallon container. I put 3 of these and refill my container every other day or so. The taste is great and this is super simple. Much more cost effective than the Brita type pitcher, which I used for years. I love these!

I want to think it's working...
I hope this is working! I can't totally tell... The water doesn't taste as good as when I used a regular brita like filter but I hate those things, so I really want to like this. I am still trying it and working with it. Trying to leave it in the water longer in hopes that is the taste issue? Been using for a couple months. You will need a few pitchers/sticks if you go through as much water as my family. The biggest annoyance is the time you need to wait for it to work but I LOVE that it is soo much better for the environment. Definitely need good time management to refill before bed every night to use the next day.

Love these! Available in multiple sizes too
I've been using these for a few years now, and they are great. I have two 1/2 gallon glass pitchers so I can keep them rotated, allowing adequate time for filtering. If you need a faster supply, they do have them for 3 - 5 gallon containers as well. They also have a water bottle size. Just boil them once a month, and they are good for a few months.

I love it. Easy to boil for cleaning
As far as filtering my water goes, I love it. Easy to boil for cleaning. My one issue is that I purchased it hoping to not have to deal with plastics as much as the filters you see in stores but unfortunately this came in some plastic packaging. It wasn't a lot but I feel like the company could move to a more green way of containing it.
