These are great, but my pup only licked the flavor off until I kept them in a 24 oz mason jar with Thai fish sauce for a couple days—now she’ll chew them properly and with gusto. I have to hold the other end thoughEdit: evidently it’s the thickness more than the flavor, she only likes this thick ones, no matter how stinky, so with these it’s like maybe 20% are acceptable

These dentals have made a huge difference in our dogs' dental health! Clearly they are not a substitute for proper veterinary care, but they go a long way towards controlling plaque build-up and improving breath. And our dogs absolutely love them!

I currently own 4 dogs middle aged dogs, and we also adopt young teething puppies. For avid chewers the Purina Veterinary Diets Dental Chews, Canine Treats are great. Unfortunately for my dogs that need to chew for teeth health just lick the formula off the rawhide.My suggestions to Purina: Make the Rawhide a little porous by sticking 100nm holes in it. No more than 20 or so, we don't want the rawhide fragmenting and potentially harming the dog. This will frustrate (for paucity of better words) the dog and promote chewing, not licking the formula off the rawhide.

My vet recommended it instead if rawhide. Safe and easier to digest. My dogs love it! Breath smells clean!

The $$$ price is horrible 😢

Our sweet mini labradoodle absolutely loves these - I cut them in half and she gets every other morning!! No odor, no mess, so Mrs loves them as well!
