LeMieux Vogue Fleece Headcollar - Halter & Leadrope - Extra Padding, Adjustable at Curb and Poll Strap

Where I board wants my horse to have a halter on all the time (he is clever enough to zoom out of the stall if the cleaner leaves the door open.) I have had some issues with rubbing but not with this halter. It has worn well even with frequent washings (just toss it into the washing machine with other horsy items.) With the double buckles ii is easy to adjust the halter to land at different spots on the nose, which also minimizes rubs. On the other hand, I am not a fan of the matching lead. Shiny and pretty, but nylon and slippery. I don't use it.

Worth every penny, these are the best I’ve used with horses in well over 45 years. I don’t know why I didn’t get them long ago. The design and the way they’re made is ideal for horse comfort as well as control for the handler. The color choices are beautiful, it’s rare to find colors I truly love. Their sizes are true, the Cob size perfectly fit my very hard to fit gelding like it was custom designed for him. The horse and large horse also were great fits for various other horses. I highly recommend this product. Packaged properly and arrived fast. They’re exactly as described.

Such a well made and soft easy to use halter. I got the full which can fit the TB and a little big on pony but still works. I am so happy it came with the matching lead rope. If you have a pony get pony size! Do not get the xfull unless you have a 17 hands or above horse. We had to return it and get the full which is large size for horses and could fit pony.

Taking off 1 star because the halter is not like the one in the picture/description. There are *no stripes* on the noseband. It is just one solid color. (I like the stripes, and am sad they are not there.) Other than that, the halter is soft and comfy where it needs to be as well as being sturdy/well-made.

I was more than pleased with the arrival of this beautiful halter and matching lead. It was much less expensive than those comparable in horse supply magazines, but I thought at the very least I would use it as a spare in the barn if it was "not so great". Also, I have an Arabian and have a hard time fitting her with cob-size bridles and halters as the headstall is either too short or the nose band is too loose. This fit perfect!When it arrived I was really pleased, enough so that I showed my equine-loving friends who also were amazed at how well made and attractive it was. The soft nose piece and above the ear piece with was sharp looking on my mare (as it would be for any horse!).I will purchase in other colors for sure!

I purchased a halter with fleece around the pole and nose many years ago. Sadly it got buried with my horse, so I needed to replace my favorite halter. I was so happy when I found this one. I like my horses to be comfortable when being led around or tied up and this fulfills that goal. It's adjustable so it fits my quarter horses with both short and long heads. The lead rope that comes with it is not great, so I replaced it with a sturdier and longer one. I didn't buy the halter for the lead rope. I loved this halter so much that I purchased a second one in a different color. If you're looking for a comfortable and sturdy halter, this is the one to buy.
