The battery is new and we provide 12 months warranty.

Our battery is new. But the software recognizes as 2011, it will not affect your use.

Below the product name it says "Visit the RayHom store. If you click on that link you will see a Customer Service link that will lead you to a place you can either chat or call.

Q: Does the battery have adhesive on the bottom?

Yes, the battery has very strong adhesive. So did the battery being replaced. I suggest you read up on how to take the old battery out, because I was caught off guard. I didn't use the correct method and had some complications. Afterwards, I researched and found there is a special adhesive remover and process to use it. I think that it should have been included with the new battery or at least an info pamphlet that accompanied it so consumers can readily know what to expect when removing the old battery.
