Paid For Themselves Already
The set includes an 8" straight & curved pair, a 6 1/4" straight & curved pair & a 5 1/2" straight & curved pair. The 5 1/2" set has serrated jaws from its tips inward, as all the other sizes do but a 1/2" long inner section of both jaws, on both the 5 1/2" straight & curved hemostats, are not serrated. This makes them better for clamping more fragile items like flexible fuel lines & soft copper wires, without damaging them. I got my set from the Amazon vendor, Vetmed; I don't know if this jaw characteristic is true for other vendors' products. The 2 smaller sets are stamped with "S S Pakistan CE" indicating they are stainless steel, made in Pakistan & European Community approved. They have a highly polished finish. The 8" set has a brushed, semi-matte finish & no stamps. You are not going to use these hemostats for human heart transplants but they are reasonably well made & finished & very functional. I did a difficult repair of a vacuum cleaner that required inserting a small spring into a tight area. I was able to compress & lock a section of the spring, hold it square & insert it into the holder easily. I was unable to do this with any of many long or needle nose pliers, including vise-grips, that I own. The low profile jaws can reach into tight areas & the easy locking & releasing jaws are like having a 3rd hand. I did realize my need for a pair with smooth jaws all the way to the tips, so I bought a pair of "Smooth Jaw Needle Holder Forcep 5" AKA Webster Needle Holder" sold elsewhere on Amazon.

Nice clamp good tool
Nice set of clamps. I purchased these because I needed the 8" clamp to clamp a fuel line while depressurizing the efi system. I will use the others for various rc and hobby uses. All will be kept in my tool box in the garage so light coat of oil will be used to prevent rust regardless if the stainless is pure or not. For $2 a clamp why cry about little spots of rust. If you want surgical grade pay for it. Otherwise take care of the tool. Nothing worse than people who spend a dollar and think they should get a $100 tool. No I did not receive any discount for this review just tired of the whining.

Not the best forceps in the world, but a _lot better than I expected for the price.
Build quality could maybe be a little better, but better than I expected for the price. No complaints. Function as intended. Nothing broken and none of them seem to be on he verge of breaking. Most of the locking teeth are fine. A couple of them do not like grabbing the first tooth very much, but as I said, significantly higher quality than I expected for the price. Would buy again. I probably wouldn't use them for something like surgery where precision and build quality are more important, but for field technician work, holding parts, untwisting pairs inside a cable, and so on they are perfectly competent.

Fine value for the price
These are made in Pakistan, which is common for inexpensive hemostats. Over the years, I have purchased other hemostats for use in fly fishing and hobby work, at sporting good and hardware stores. All were made in Pakistan. In this set, the two largest hemostats were of lesser quality than the other four, with a rougher finish. I suspect that they were made at a different factory, then bundled with the others for the set. Still, they will work fine for my uses. The other four had a nice polished finish, and well aligned jaws. I put those in my emergency medical kit. For the cost, this set is a fine value.

Perfect for pulling up small weeds between stone pavers.
I use these for pulling up weeds! I had the brilliant (I thought) idea of buying kelly clamps to pull up weeds between stone pavers after I took off my garden gloves because I couldn't get a good grip on small weeds, and then got dirt and skin cracking. I tried needle nose pliers which worked for a while but then thought Kelly clamps would be perfect. I found these on Amazon used which fit my intended purposes quite well. I have now used them several times and they are perfect for the job. Wish I had thought of this sooner.

Good bang for your buck
These are heavy duty metal that will work well for what they are intended for, but I found one of the smaller ones didn't really cinch up like it should have, but that's okay because these are primarily just going to be used on my emergency medical bug out bag and car kits. Its a good deal for the money because you have plenty to choose from. For some reason I thought these came with scissors too, but they are just the hemostat set.

Good but not great
The quality is kind of lacking but what do you really expect for the price. I got these for general garage work but specifically for replacing the fuel lines on some 2-stroke equipment. They also come in handy working with small pieces in modeling. I took the best pair of straight/curved ones and buffed off the manufacturing burrs and added them to my first-aid kit. Hopefully I won't be doing any home suturing but you just never know.

Very nice quality and performance!
Excellent quality products!! I purchased them for my tool box for intricate projects I do but these work 10X better than the stuff I got from other vendors. They grip the tiniest parts I use and lock & unlock very smoothly. The finish is nice and well done. For what I do, the different sizes and lengths work perfect and I would have to believe they'd pretty much cover anything you'd need to do with them. The order arrived very fast, the price was amazing for the set and the seller communication was excellent! This product from this seller is a win-win situation anyway I look at it!

Really cheap but definitely poor quality. Don’t expect much and you will be happy.
I had a pair of hemostats that I purchased through Fischer Scientific some 45 years ago which probably were of surgical quality. They were finely made, high quality and a pleasure to use. These are not them. The casting is poor and there has been allot of grinding to get them into a rather rough and very clunky shape. The strait pairs are not, they have a slight bend to all of them (pic 2).The finish is not smooth but appear to have just been run on a sanding belt. The “jaws” are not evenly ground so the clamping pressure would not be even (pic 1 top jaw clearly is thicker)Make no mistake these are NOT medical or even dissection quality if you have used such tools in the past. In fact the seller does not bill them as such.“ Our set can be used for hobby, crafts, cleaning, sewing, auto repair, doll making, etc.”Depending on your hobby/craft these may not be precise enough. For my intended use in my shop with small engines etc and at about 20cad for the set I am satisfied so I still gave the set 4 stars.

ok for fishing
I'm a Vet Tech (animal nurse) and bought it just to see what they are like. If you're using them for removing hooks from a fish's mouth or using them for crafts they are great. For cleaning dog ears or medical stuff get ones from a medical supply store. The handles and jaws are rough but you can file them or just buy better ones. Some quality issues, but otherwise functional.

Some quality issues, but otherwise functional.
It seems obvious to me that these are either tools that didn't pass QA and therefore are sold at a lower price, or are manufactured very cheaply. A few of the problems that I have in mine are as follows. The jaws on the smallest hemostat are wildly uneven, with one side roughly 2-3 mm at the tip, and the other is barely 0.5 mm. This... obviously causes problems. The smaller side has split in half lengthwise likely due to this issue. It is still functional however. Some of the other hemostats have arms that are already bent, reducing their clamping power, while others have extremely misaligned teeth. (Some of them have perfectly aligned teeth!)Finally, the quality and alignment of the locking teeth also seems to vary wildly. While they all work, some clamp much more readily and securely while others require a bit more persuasion. Some have extremely sharp locking teeth, while others have very shallow locking teeth. Nothing that couldn't be fixed with a small file and a few minutes of my time.Overall? For the price? They're not terrible. I probably wouldn't recommend them to friends because of the quality issues. I'd probably tell them to buy a few better quality ones that would have a better fit and finish. (I'm assuming that people aren't buying things from amazon to actually use for surgery here.)

Nice tools.
I was a bit worried about the quality of these hemostats due to some of the previous reviews. The pricing looked good, so I took the leap of faith. I'm glad I did, these are nice, close well, and seem OK for normal use. They lock and unlock well, and the tips are finer than most needle nose pliers. The finish isn't as highly polished as a pair of medical grade hemostats I inherited in the 1980s, but I don't need to sterilize these for surgery. Good solid tool for those that do fine work. Probably unsuitable for removing lug nuts from heavy trucks.
