It fit well and worked well.

Everything fit my Cub Cadet 1641 perfectly. It was easy to replace it all with in minutes. Oil was draining while i was changing air filter and plugs. Within minutes i was back in the yard with a complete tune up.

Was what I was looking for

I installed this on a JD235 lawn tractor. The air filter and foam band, as well as the oil filter , and spark plugs, fit and work well. However there are two fuel filters provided with the kit. My application used the longer one, which after carefully installing it and replacing spring clamps, an hour later I noticed gas odor. The fuel filter was leaking gas from where the two pieces of the filter are glued together. Not from the hose connections, but from the filter itself. Luckily I had another long filter to replace it with which stopped the leak. This could have been disastrous, as I store my mower in my garage, any spark with gas fumes, and you know the result. In examining the shorter filter which came with the kit, I noticed the filter element itself was not secured to the outbound end of the housing, and was rattling around inside, thus would have not filtered anything. I used the rest of the kit, but the gas filters were both junk as delivered. The kit was packed well for shipping, just not good components.

Installed most parts in my JD 235 GT. Gas and air filters fit and appear to work properly. The spark plugs and oil filter are another story. After a short mowing session, stored the tractor. When restarting, it was hard to start and had developed a miss. I put the old plugs back in and the miss stopped. Also, I was afraid to try the oil filter, since previous reviews were less than glowing, and the overall size was much less than the one removed. Bought a different filter that matched the one removed and have had no problems.
