Works well and very high quality. I'm pleased with that. Docking one star because I wished the tubing was longer so that it can be cut to fit any size mason jar. The tubes were too short to reach the bottom when used with the bigger mason jars I had intended. The tubing is fine for standard size 16 oz. mason jars and smaller if you trim the straw. The lid fits standard jars only. No wide mouth jars. I bought this to use on a larger jar but ended up using on a smaller/shorter 16 oz. jar for something else.

We wanted a mason jar based soap dispenser and after reading the reviews here on Amazon, we settled on the pre-built Smith's Soap Dispensers instead of making our own. We ordered two packs, so four lids/pumps total.Shipment arrived quickly, and it was no surprise that there was a 'Made in China' sticker on the product packaging. Right away, our first impressions; the units felt thin and flimsy, and the pump action was not smooth and felt as if it had a weak return spring. Needless to say, we weren't surprised when one out of the four failed to work. We tried different soap thicknesses and even water, but could not get it to pump. Thankfully, Amazon has a great return policy and the replacement pump was at our doorstep two days later.It has been TEN DAYS since we received our replacement lids/pumps and they have already began to RUST from the inside! Both units in our bathroom, used a combined total of approximately five to seven times a day, have rust forming around the dispensers tip! Both units also have different soap types/brands in them; one has Dial Antibacterial Soap and the other has Mrs. Meyers Hand Soap, so it isn't the soap! While the lids and pump unit might be the claimed '203 Stainless Steel', I seriously doubt the spigot is!

Bought this 2-pack of soap dispensers for use in our two bathrooms 6 months ago. I will not be buying these again and in fact plan on replacing them. Both have rusted significantly despite being dried after use and both dispenser tubes (where the soap comes out) have completely fallen out multiple times. One of them dispenses more soap than the other but both have reduced their total dispensing power since the initial purchase. It takes several pumps just to get a dime size amount for handwashing. Not efficient and definitely not worth the money paid.

I puchased these 2 years ago and have not been too happy with them. Almost immediately, the lids themselves rusted, they are NOT stainless steel. Now, the spout has come out of one of the pumps and I can't just push it back in. I had really liked them but they have not proved to be worth the extra investment. Too bad.

Exactly as described. Well constructed and easy to put together. I use it with a pint sized mason jar for homemade dish soap and it works perfectly. I have replaced a previous pump that was an insert for the mason ring. The original insert pump allowed leakage and was a mess. This one piece lid system has eliminated this problem.I will definitely buy again for other projects.

I LOVED this... while it lasted. It never truly sat right to begin with before completely coming apart (within 2 months). The base of the pump (where it connects to the "lid") came clean off. My only hope for it now will be if I can glue it back and hope it stays... and if super glue can't make this work, then I will have no other choice - it will be sent to soap dispenser lid / pump heaven. :( Sadness.

I bought these to use with hand soap- the top isn't made of aluminum or stainless- it is some kind of steel. After a ahort time the soap came out with rust- not good for a soap dispenser so I can't imagine what liquid wouldn't cause it to rust
