Halo Top, Dairy-Free Peanut Butter & Jelly, Pint (4 count)

Taste just like peanut-butter ice cream, only lighter. I would never know it was vegan by the taste. I will buy it again, all summer. It was shipped carefully too, solidly frozen. It was better after 2 days in my freezer but you should still let it stand 5 or 10 minutes to soften it. Then it's great.

As a snack- it is not sweet and is smooth/ delicious and low in calories- a very satisfying treat-

To some other reviewers: If you want regular ice cream, just buy regular ice cream - don’t buy a diet product and complain about how it doesn’t taste like something with legit heavy cream and 1000x the sugar, seriously, it just doesn’t.But if you have goals, and want to achieve them while still giving yourself a treat sometimes, then this is for you.I have been dairy free for a long time, but have recently started keto to lose weight- this product has been an absolute godsend. Shouldyou expect the most delicious ice cream ever? No, but the trade off in carbs and calories makes it worth it. I am used to vegan protein shakes and vegan ice cream, so the flavor works for me. I probably eat 3 pints of this stuff a week and have lost 15lb so far. Knowing I have a dessert coming helps me stay on track the rest of the day—Halo top hits my sweet tooth without going overboard. The only thing that would make this better is if they had a dairy free Mint Chip.

Tastes of brown rice syrup, even though it's supposedly coconut-based. Virtually no peanut butter flavor at all, even though I had thought that might be an easy one for a non dairy product to match. Anyone giving this flavor five stars either was paid off or has never tasted real ice cream or real peanut butter.

I can generally finish any ice cream if it even halfway decent and I paid for it. This dairy free birthday cake flavor? Awful. It literally tasted like Play-doh. Chocolate syrup and Cool Whip didn’t even help. I am mad because this went straight down the disposable - money down the drain. I’ve had other flavors and really enjoyed them. I can’t believe this was even on the market.

I’m a huge fan of most of Halo Top’s regular flavors, so I thought I’d try some of the dairy-free ones because how could they be bad, right?!Dairy-free Chocolate Almond Crunch tastes like sawdust with almonds in it. When I say it tastes like sawdust, I’m not referring to just the texture. It is, indeed, grainy, but it is also flavored exactly like the wood dust kicked up by a power sander. I actually ate the whole pint because I kept thinking, “It’ll get better.”TL; DR: It did not get better. Ack! Won’t be trying any other dairy-free flavors. Why mess with a good thing?
