Q: Will the key work for an 06 infinity g35 or not?? Simple question. Ive got a locksmith coming by tomorrow if it will....if not let me know now pleas

I purchased this for my Altima and no one will program the fob but the dealership. No matter where I went a small mechanic shop or locksmith no one could do it. It's extremely annoying to throw away money because Amazon will not refund my money.

Q: where is the part number on the remote?

Could not find a number on the Amazon fob. The original Infiniti fob has the number written inside the square recess area that is exposed when you remove the mechanical key from the fob.

Q: Will this work for 2008 g35x how do I go about matching vin number?

It worked for my 2009 G37X. You do not need to match the vin number. After I purchased the fob I called a locksmith who drove to my house and programmed the key. I had two of them programmed for $150.

Q: has anyone had problems with this going thru batteries very quickly, like in a few weeks when you dont even use it regularly?

We have noticed it has to be charged a lot more than the original. If you don't charge it the doors and trunk won't unlock.
