DaystarKJ01009BK 1.25" Transfer Case Drop Kit

They fit well but to install these are a pain.

I installed a 4.5inch lift on my 1998 Jeep XJ recently and I was worried about driveshaft vibration. Supposedly putting on a lift this big will mess up the angles of your transmission to the rear axle and cause the driveshaft to vibrate. With this kit, it allows for the transmission to rest a 1-1/4 inch lower, fixing the angles issue. It has served me well so far, I have had zero Issues.

Install went easy. Remove old nuts and studs. Slap these in. Insert metal sleeves line everything up. Use blue or red loctite on bolts. Torque to 35 ft lbs and your off to the races.

Took me about 15 minutes. Two fasteners are studs two are bolts. Use the two nuts jammed together to remove each stud one side at a time. If you are up north it will be much more difficult due to corrosion.

"Easy to install" was tough to rate 5/5, but it's NOT Daystar's fault. XJs and their studs are ridiculous, but I got this on after a while and deciding to just couple the stud I COULD get out with the one that I couldn't.A pain, but no fault of Daystar. Once in, the vibration and grinding of the driveshaft and ujoints has stopped almost entirely. Got here quickly too.Installed on a 1999 XJ with a 3 inch lift on 31s.

I have a ‘97 Cherokee Sport and after installing a RC 3” lift, I was experiencing some shaking between 20-40ish MPH and my rear drive shaft would make an abrupt “clunk” when pushing on or letting off the gas pedal. After installing this kit, all vibrations/shaking and the clunk went away. Drives like a million bucks now. Very happy. Hope it stands up to use over time.

Although I was upset there was only four spacers when the package arrived, when actually installing that is all you need! The rear brace bolts right back up without additional spacers. When taking the studs out I simply welded the nut to it and they came right out. Start to finish job time was 30 minutes!

Easy to install!! Not so easy to get the bolt stud out (this has nothing to do with the product)! Once we had the bolt stud out, this bolted into place easily!

This set only came with FOUR spacers I did not recieve what is pictured. I asked for a replacement and also was only given four.

I like the product. Haven’t installed it yet but I’m confident it will serve its purpose.I am just wondering why the picture shows 6 parts but I have received a package of 4 only.

el la publicacion te ponen 6 aumentos , yo lo compre por eso, ya que en mi jeep ya tengo intalado los brazos largos y trae 6 tornillos , y pues solo te mandan los 4 que tiene originalmente .
