This is an excellent product for bleaching your hair blonde. Used with the rest of the Satin line of dyes and lighteners, it protects your hair from breakage, most important to the bleaching experience, and really leaves your hair soft and manageable. The best part of this is the fact that you can use the Satin line of products on damp towel dried hair. Great for double bleaching for us deep dark brunettes. Follow the directions, remember this is volume 40, high lifting of color, mostly used for bleaching and lightening your hair. To add dark color use lower volume 20. You will be amazed with the result and the texture of your hair. Follow with a deep conditioning treatment and love your new look. Brought my roots 4 shades up to white without the damage you would normally get from 40 volume. This is my second bottle. I won't use anything else on my hair.

The product didn't work. I used 30 developer 2:1 ratio to the color, left it on for over 30 minutes. I was going for a sky blue, what I got was an almost unseeable blueish grey tint. I've used the same color before & it worked fine, so it was the developer that was the problem.

I really like the Satin developer 40. My hair doesn't gray as fast anymore.
