One of my LA professors recommended this book and I am so glad I purchased it. It shows a wide variety of great landscape architecture projects and inspirations behind them. Very inspiring book. It helped me with my designs.

With a generous number of sketches, drawings and beautiful photographs, the book is written in a very approachable manner. Reading about the creative process of these 21 world-renowned landscape architects validated for me that design inspiration can come from a great many sources, sometimes quite unexpected and often surprisingly simple.

This book gives a rare glimpse of how some of the most sucessful landscape architects have interpreted their vision of nature. I found it truly fascinating. One does not have to be an architect to appreciate this work. The writing is clear and is combined with high quality photography. This work is a treasure and has become a staple in my home library. Highly recommended!
